Medusa had a Middle-Eastern accent in the movie, but she had a Transylvanian accent in the audio book. Plus, they added in an old lady whose husband and her were turned into stone.

Completely changed. They took out all the good parts, such as... Traded the Arch for the Temple Removed the mist and dodds Removed the bus scene Removed Ares and Clarise Threw percy on the wrong team Gave grover the shoes Removed the good parts from the underworld Removed the theft of Hades's helm And a lot more of the good parts.

@Aradicus: I liked the movie nontheless. Also, don't forget how they massively changed Lotus Casino. In the book, Lotus Casino has video games and doesn't need a drug in food to make you stay there forever

The hydra is not even IN that book. I think I could've done a better Percy not to say I am a better ACTOR, I just look more like 'em, plus I am the right age.

Th book is STILL better than the movie. However, Annebeth has blond hair with gray eyes, in the movie she has different color hair and eyes. They took out Ares and Clarise... :( The Hydra shouldn't have been there. I liked the movie anyway, there was just one thing I thought was messed up. The gods can have mortal contact with their kids, at one of the Solstices the councilers from each cabin go up there to Olympus, and the gods can't help their kids like in the movie. Oh well.

Saw it with my GF last month, we both hated it, it was extremely off the book, even more than the harry potter movies, and wasn't Annabeth supposed to be blonde...and younger????
