Let's say you're some sort of space marine (over time, anti-)hero dude mercenary. Maybe originally an Optimus Prime or Luke Skywalker, over time being more of Solid Snake in spaaaacce, or Han Solo or whoever. Paragade Shep if you want the exact thing I had in mind. (Which is basically Solid Snake anyway but sure)
For the sake of plot and whatever, you're a member of some majority space-faring species or something that a _very_ long time ago did some pretty horrible things to the other space-faring species.
This small annoying group keeps insisting you're some kind of villanous monster because:
- A: you're a member of this species, therefore you're evil.
- B: you're a man
- C: you did something that by any normal interpretation is heroic, good, paragon of righteousness and all, but they twist it to make it look like you're some monster
- D: they accuse you of something you didn't do that because you were accused of, everyone believes it's true.
Over time, they get louder and more numerous, and suddenly your friends and allies start to turn on you.
You're alone, in the cold emptiness of space, trying to be heroic when no one wants your help.
What kind of decisions do you make?
What do you do?
this has absolutely nothing to do at all with something I'm working on that may or may not be a game, which is not going to run on Windows. :)

the intent is to push Linux for gaming* by refusing to port all of my games to Windows and make very well-polished games that will hopefully force some switches.
(and to beg canonical for money)

I uh, won't conform or deny anything.
It's more than that, though, also involving the dangers of the MSM's monopoly on information and progressivism/liberalism in general.
Right now the project is a loose collection of ideas and stuff, but I'll be working on it, mainly emphasizing the fallacy of minorities and the slippery slope that leads to minorities of minorities of minorities in which trivial features are emphasized over personal qualities, (ie, Big Brother is very much real.), saying 'no' to the SJW dream of Cybermen/Borg.
Now now now, it's just a story about animals in space.

This song fits __so__ perfectly with the vision of this game.
It's all about disillusionment and the fallacy of heroism and that all efforts, in the end, are meaningless, because they will be rejected by those who are both in power and are too blind to see reason.
Childish idealism gives way into a realistic, perhaps cynical, outlook on everything: everything's all ruined and the best thing you can do is pick up the pieces and start over.
Be wary though, of the opposite extreme, for it too, is an equal evil which you are attempting to avoid. (*cough* Merkel *cough*)
Out of everything though, I considered a novel or short film or something... I really feel something more to the tune like Spec Ops: The Line, an artistic video game, is really the only proper way to do this: the interactivity is inherently one of the most important facets, emphasizing that nothing you do will fix anything.
I still have to write the game engine and 3D models/textures, voice work, music work, audio work, game logic, scripting engine, all of it from scratch though. Loooooooonnngggggg way to go.
But hey, it's just a funny story about animals in space.

I'm well aware of that, but the goal is to have more and more developers get courageous enough to say "Here's a Linux-exclusive, it works and runs well, my game is going to also be Linux-exclusive because theirs works and look at how great a native game works."
The point is to add increasing pressure to the infection that is Windows to hopefully get more and more switches -- even if that is people installing it as a dual-boot setup (ideally), or running Linux in Windows' version of KVM if they even have one, and then deciding they like it, so they switch to the penguin and I can further ignore Windows.
I'll figure out a way to explicitly deny running my games on the Windows Subsystem for Linux, without breaking if you happen to have W Is Not an Emulator installed. My most probable implementation of this, is to simply only support Wayland or something, lol. But then that cuts out an overwhelming majority of Linux users. (Which, when you're already restricting your current possible audience, is a _very_ bad thing.)
If I **have** to make a Windows port, first I'd ask support from Microsoft to make it, and second I'd make it intentionally *very* bad and blame Windows for it, pulling off a Microsoft on Microsoft. (I'm referring to DR-DOS running Windows, by the way.)
If through some magic or extreme stroke of luck I (somehow) make like 100 million dollars off of this (in no way is that possibly happening LOL), i'd probably a good chunk of it to invest it in either paying for advertisements for Ubuntu honestly. Wait until juusssst after a Windows 10 update, continually bash the repeated privacy issues of Windows 10, and top the Get a Mac campaign.
tl;dr
i want to plant a flag and ~~say~~ scream 'LOOK AT HOW MUCH BETTER GAMES WORK ON LINUX THAN WINDOWS IF YOU'D JUST STOP' and see how many come over. If not a lot do, pump out more games for Linux-only and repeat.
But hey. This is just about funny animals in outer space.
