Hey, it's cool to see that someone here listens to ELP and Jethro Tull other than me. Here's my list:
Guitar: "In the Name of God" by Dream Theater
Keyboard: "In the Name of God" by Dream Theater (seriously, the dual keyboard-guitar leads in that song are amazing)
Drums: Moby D1ck" by Led Zeppelin
Bass: "Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth)" by Metallica
Whistling: STS's Kiss Shreds (it's the most hilarious video out there in my opinion)
Cowbell: "Drag the Waters" by Pantera ("Don't Fear the Reaper" is a close second, followed by "Mississippi Queen") |
I've never heard of any of those songs but the runner ups in Cowbell... |
Guitar: Through Fire And Flames - DragonForce (Duh!)
Bass Guitar: Worker Bees - Billy Talent
Keyboard: "Jabon" by Nerve & Jojo Mayer
Drums: Move - Thousand Foot Krutch
Whistling: That song that comes on when you lose a race in Mario Kart: Double Dash!.
Cowbell: Low Rider - War Song
Piano: How To Save A Life - The Fray
Violin: Skin And Bones - Foo Fighters
Guitar: One by Metallica
Bass: Smooth Criminal (everyone knows who make it)
Keyboard: Sandstorm by Darude
Drums: Something with Buddy Rich in it. |

no

Drums: Anything Rush - Rush |
Drums: Anything off of the "Live At Leeds" album by The Who
Guitar: Impossible to say. I guess I'll just say Back In Black
Flute: Hocus Pocus - Focus
Piano: Piano Man - Billy Joel
Violin: The Devil Went Down To Georgia - Charlie Daniels
Keith Moon owns Neil Peart. |
The drumming on "Live At Leeds" owns Rush any day. I love Rush, but you can't argue that Keith Moon is a better drummer.
If Live At Leeds isn't good enough for you look up "Won't Get Fooled Again".
Keith Moon > Neil Peart |

I changed my mind THIS (Please excuse the off-site link) is the greatest drum solo ever: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmUbYiFXT_0&feature=response_watch |
1. Guitar - No Boundaries by Michael D. Angelo [seriously, any of his songs are beastly solos]
2. Keyboard - Jump by Van Halen is pretty good
3. Bass - Orion by Metallica
4. Drums - Painkiller by Judas Priest, but there's also others. [Don't forget Rush, Rush drumming is freakin beastly!] |
Although Neil Peart is a KILLER drummer Keith Moon and Buddy Rich are both better than him. |
Piano: Piano Man - Billy Joel |
Harmonica: Piano Man - Billy Joel |
All 3 guitar solos of November Rain by Guns n' Roses, The guitar solo of All Along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix, I could go on forever. |
Oops forgot these solos, they are the entire song. I Know You're Here, and For The Love of God by Steve Vai, Surfing with the Alien by Joe Satriani, and Nottingham Lace by Buckethead. |
^ Also Mystical Potato Head Groove thing is great by Satriani. The name is so misleading tho |
