It's basically your standard RPG. If you like Dragon Age and Guild Wars, you'll probably enjoy it. But it isn't comparable to Skyrim. Smoke your green, I'm spending mine.

Yes and No You will get the same lore, crafting, and quests that skyrim has. But it's very much different than skyrim in the same way it's very much similar. Leveling is a grind and the only reward is ingame pvp or pve which ever you prefer. If you have friends do it, if you don't it's a gamble on whether or not you like a grinding game (i play just about any mmo you name so of course I love it). There's hundreds of different playstyles so don't worry about that you can for sure find your niche, over all it's an extremely FUN game if you can get past the grinding aspect some people hate. You can double that fun with friends however.

It's alright. It's not similar to the other elder scrolls series, it' an MMO, but the lore is linked to the other games. It's honestly a bit repetitive after a while, but if you like MMO's and grinding for loot etc. then it's definitely one of the better MMO's out there right now. Go to G2A or GMG and pick it up for like $25, but I would highly recommend the gold edition with all the #### which will be about $35, I'd say it's worth it.

"it doesn't have the actual skyrim feel" Actually I completely disagree. I have 200+ hours on skyrim and 150+ on ESO, it feels very much like any other elder scrolls game, BUT the flaw it DOES have is it's not extremely unique because it's trying to be so many different things. Do NOT buy it if you are just looking for an online version of skyrim however, you will be disappointed.

I have over 150 games sorry I don't play one for thousands of hours I've easily invested over 800 hours to the entire elder scrolls series

It's nowhere close to how skyrim is, it's nice and all but it's not really as open worlded as skyrim is and item collecting is scarce on enemies.

"item collecting is scarce on enemies." I can already tell you do not play this game often

"i've got thousands upon thousands of hours on all the elder scrolls games and i may as well have a college degree in elder scrolls lore and IMEO the game is pretty bad" Yea he is correct from a lore perspective the game is honestly horrible, this is a very niche based game.

@F_lipe I had nearly 100 hours on it, don't try to tell me that every enemy has an item you can pull off their body. ESO is not close enough to skyrim in that sense.

It depends on what you are comparing it to honestly. If you are coming to the game from old ES games like Skyrim, Oblivion, and are looking for another game from the elder scrolls franchise then I wouldn't recommend it. But if you came to them game because you like MMO's and are looking for a good one to play, then it's definitely worth it.

"I had nearly 100 hours on it, don't try to tell me that every enemy has an item you can pull off their body. ESO is not close enough to skyrim in that sense. " If you expect an MMO to have a item loot system where every single trash mob is going to drop you an item of value you've got no clue how MMO's are meant to be played

Buddy, I wasn't comparing it to another MMO. I was comparing it to skyrim, maybe you should read OP's post then what I said, it'd make more sense that I'd be talking about skyrim.

#214438309Saturday, April 15, 2017 8:56 PM GMT

Even in skyrim you're not going to get an item of value off trash mobs that often
galbotrix
#214438490Saturday, April 15, 2017 8:58 PM GMT

You get an item off every single thing you kill in skyrim or at least I did lmfao.

#214438530Saturday, April 15, 2017 8:59 PM GMT

I was referring to items in general, not items of value.
