Back then, people in Roblox are able to communicate freely under one main language: I think you can guess it is English. However, the problem is that roblox is becoming increasingly popular in other countries: mainly Spanish or Portugese-speaking places. While I have no grudge against those people, majority of roblox servers are becoming increasingly Spanish-speaking and I can't even strike up a conversation, or able to communicate with other people to help me with something because we cannot even understand each other. One time, I had to press the play button more than 5 times (technically 8 because some servers have players who are annoying) only to find EVERYONE speaking Spanish. Other English-speaking players like me sometimes get frustrated and asked them to speak English, the nonenglish responded with "no" or simply told us to speak Spanish. This led to growing hostility and confliction. What I am suggesting is that there should be an addition to the placement algorithm when playing on a server. If your primary language is English, you can get placed in a server where people (or at least the majority) speaks English, if your primary is Spanish, you can get placed in a server where people speaks Spanish. That way, content creators are able to maintain players while having players be able to communicate and understand one another better without having to isolate themselves because of a language barrier.

Note that it is my mistake to put all "nonenglish" as automatically Spanish please replace all "Spanish" with nonenglish

Not only that dude, for some languages you can't even speak them, you can't speak certain French words without tags. I really want to speak French in Roblox games but I can't, I think you should be able to choose whether you join English or French or Spanish or even many more languages servers and get moderators to moderate the chat.

Obviously you have not read my post in full, what I am trying to explain is that those who speak in other languages should be in servers where they are able to communicate with others how would you like it if you go to a server full of people speaking Spanish, English, German, French, Polish, or even Mandarin!? Would I have to learn all of those languages? also that is google translate

If you read my post, I put "What I am suggesting is that there should be an addition to the placement algorithm when playing on a server. If your primary language is English, you can get placed in a server where people (or at least the majority) speaks English, if your primary is Spanish, you can get placed in a server where people speaks Spanish." Bilingual people have a primary language they speak (or at least prefer to speak) I am multilingual fyi. I speak English, I took Spanish class because my neighborhood is becoming increasingly populated by Mexicans, Cubans, and Venezuelans who refused to speak in any other language other than Spanish, I live in an Vietnamese family so I had to learn Vietnamese and French, I also am fascinated with German history, so I know some German as well.

My native language is Portuguese (which for an English native speaker, it seems to be very similar to Spanish, but it's not when speaking). I'm actually living in Portugal, but I was born in Brazil though. I'm learning how to speak English, I give my best to understand you guys, however, sometimes when you find some who speaks your native language, you "feel at home" with people who understand and can communicate in a more complex way. If you are a English native speaker, you also can do the same as I'm doing right now, learn another language, it won't take that long. I guess you guys understand some Spanish, because the school often teach it to you, isn't it?

I understand that everyone can speak multiple languages. However, not EVERYONE can speaking multiple languages. I believe it is much easier that people can just select their primary language and the algorithm can auto-guide them to a place where people can speak your native language WHILE satisfying content creators for activity. Like what the guy somewhere above me said: "you feel right at home". I had to be taught many languages (it is harder than you think) than what i said earlier. people with multiple languages would or should NOT have a problem with this idea because it doesn't negatively effect them, they can just go in their settings and just select any language they want, so does other people. Heck i bet some would find it EASIER they don't have to interchange languages in the same server with people speaking Japanese, French, and Spanish at the same time. (trust me I took human psychology and sociology classes, both study about human mind and human society). Don't automatically assume that this makes me against anyone speaking anything other than English or forcing them not to. If we want to have happy communication with people who can help us rather than saying "what you say? I don't speak English sorry" in many different languages when we need help with something. If someone who doesn't speak english in a game wants to go to a game with english people, they can set their primary language in the settings (if it exists) to English so the algorithm can change. Match-making statistics an all that.

I honestly agree with you, batboy. ROBLOX should put some restrictions. For example, if they mark the first person as a Spanish-speaker, they should direct other language users to different servers. This might be classified as segregation, but this is the only way to stop the problems on ROBLOX. It's so annoying.
