European Union Application

Prologue:
Applications are to be filled out properly; applications filled out improperly are to be discarded. If the application is filled out properly in its entirety, the European Union shall initiate the process for the application. Applicants will be notified at each step of the application process. Please include the question and answer within the application; send the application in a private message to the current European Union Chairman.
Each application must meet the requirements set out in the European Union Code of Law, Article I, Section XVI.

2. How many members?
3. What kind of government?
4. Are more than 75% of the government positions filled?
5. Armed Forces?
6. About how many alternative citizens (alternate accounts)?
7. On a scale of 1-10, how active is the country?
8. Has the nation been a member of the European Union before?

Foreign Relations:
1. How many allies?
2. At war with any European Union member?
3. Apart of or own any commonwealth or dependancies?
4. Apart of or partnered with any coalition, continental union or organization?

Final Comments:
Applicant nations are to describe here as to why they are in-line with the European Union's standards. (See Article I, Section X of European Code of law (Located in EU group description) for more information).

Timeline Data:
1st Stage: Application (Responded to within 48 hours)
2nd Stage: Application reviewed by the Chairman of European Union (responded to within 24 hours of 1st stage)
3rd Stage: Application reviewed by the Council/Board of the European Union (Responded to within 24 hours of 2nd stage)
4th Stage: Application reviewed by the European Parliament (Responded to within 72 hours)
5th Stage: If Application is approved, Applicant nation will be accepted as a Semi-member of the European Union (See Article I, Section VII of EU Law)
6th Stage: After a waiting period of 1 week, nation may apply for Full-membership (Responded to within 72 hours)
7th Stage: If Applicant is approved, Applicant nation will be accepted to Full-member status of the European Union.
If Application is denied at any stage in the process, the application will be denied and the process will reset.
If applicant nation applies again, it will have to start from the beginning. |
