I have seen some people lately who think roblox is greedy for money. well they need that money to. idk. FEED THEIR KIDS! and also KEEP THE BUISNESS RUNNING AND THE SITE PAID OFF. so theres your explanation.

roblox is a business
the point of business is to make as much money as possible
the intentions of ROBLOX is to make as much money as possible.
they do this by making a fun game, and adding transactions that seem to be worth the cost.
robloxs net worth is around 23 million dollars. that is not "feeding kids money"
however, it's not particularly "greedy"
it's just laissez fair business

I would start listing legitimate reasons why a company's owner might sell out, but it seems you're too mentally-challenged to understand anything about it beyond your own preconceived notion that it must automatically be about "greed."

It's not the company, it's the people they sell out to
- Company sells out to investors
- Investors want their money back and more
- Company adds microtransactions or whatever other garbage they can come up with (sponsors, video ads in-game, etc)
EXAMPLE:
- Jagex's most popular MMO (name purposely not listed)
- Before IVP (investors) acquired majority control of Jagex:
Player count increasing every year
Updates are tested before they're released
Low bandwidth usage
No microtransactions
Membership costs $5-$6 with cr######a####
- After IVP acquired majority control of Jagex:
Microtransactions added one month later
Membership cr######a####rice increased one month later to $8, and was later increased to $10
Weekly microtransaction updates
'Subscribe' button in-game for F2P players that can't be removed
Constant popup nags about subscribing to access exclusive content
Updates are constantly broken on release
Very high bandwidth usage because audio is streamed and not even cached
Bugs that go unfixed for years, some even being game-breaking
TO RECEIVE EXTRA BONUSES, USERS CAN COMPLETE SURVEYS THAT CAN GIVE YOU VIRUSES!
Had to bring back 2007 version of the game because many players were quitting. 2007scape now has more players than RS3

This is the most pathetic explaining ever. You barely even explained much.
The reason why they removed it and are making you pay for everything is because they need money to run their site. Even though they are rich, they use all of their money to run the servers, the site, everything else.
All major companies do this. The popular the game is, the more you have to pay to keep it running.

Or you can learn the Roblox history. The removal of Tix was unnecessary. Roblox managed YEARS without needing to do this. And they reached a new low of taking people's money when they buy Robux and not giving the customers the Robux they have bought. -.- That's not being greedy? |

the expenses that ROBLOX pays is far more than you think
games,
players,
servers,
models,
decals,
shirts,
pants,
audios,
anything created by users or ROBLOX has to be stored somewhere
and storing perhaps hundreds of terabytes worth of data isn't cheap. and they wouldn't do it on standard SSD / HDD drives, they'd store it all on magnetic tapes
that would cost maybe thousands each
then they also need to pay to keep the site up and running
then they also need to pay their staff
then they also need to pay people in DevEX
then they also need to pay for the ROBLOX merchandise
then they also need to pay all sorts of licenses
then they also need to pay for advertisements
then they also need to pay to have ROBLOX on XBOX
