Not all of it is required to read, just the rules, the race you want to be, and your races character sheet. Oh, equipment, also. |

(Thanks, Brickinator, I really appreciate that.)
As I walked down the steps, I could notice all the other races looking at me with disgust. I was here on the Citadel for a mission. I was ordered to search for a Quarian that went missing. Then, an Asari pulled me into an alley. There were five Quarians around her, all seemed to be scared. "Come with me, I will help you find what you are looking for," she said calmly.
I knew she was a slaver and was only trying to catch me off guard. I grabbed my heavy pistol and pointed it at her face. "Let these Quarians go or I'll pull the trigger." She quickly reached inside her robe and drew out a pistol, but before she could fire, I shot her. She fell to the ground, dead. The Quarians all thanked me. Noticing one of them as somebody I knew, I grabbed them. "Long time, no see." I said.
"Veetor!" She said. Her name was Kahlee, she wore a yellow enviro-suit and was about the same height and build as me. I knew her since I was a child. "Come on, lets get back to the fleet." I began walking away, but she just stood there. "Veetor, I'm sorry, but I'm not going back. I helping found a Quarian colony, it will help the Quarians come out of exile." I said nothing, just stared at the ground.
"Go ahead, I'm not stopping you. I'll the board that you have chosen to leave the Migrant Fleet with the Quarian's needs in mind." I could tell that she was happy. "Thank you, Veetor! Maybe I'll see you on the colony sometime!" And with that, she was gone. "Yeah, maybe...." I said even though I knew she wasn't there.
Back at the Migrant Fleet, I notified the board about Kahlee. They let her go for now, but if the colony was a failure, they would forbid her from coming back to the fleet. I took a pod back to the ship where I lived. When I got on the ship, a huge laser ripped right through the middle. I was shocked, I had no idea what just happened. Yusif, my friend, came from around a corner. "Veetor, the Collectors are attacking! We've got to save the Admiral!" He motion for me to follow him. He lead me to a room with Admiral Zaal in it. Zaal was lying on the floor, injured.
"Carry him out of here, I'll cover you!" Yusif said. I went over to Zaal and lifted him up. I began carrying him out of the room. The hallway was full of Collectors and Quarians. Before I moved on, Yusif cleared a path for me. We ran down the hall and around a corner. We were confronted by a Collector. Yusif lifted up his assault rifle, ready to shoot. Before he could pull the trigger, the Collector shot him. He screamed before falling to the floor. Then the Collector pointed his assault rifle at me.
Then the same yellow bean ripped through the ship between me and the Collector. Before I knew it, the ship has exploded and I was falling to the ground, still carrying Zaal. |

We fell through space, falling towards the Citadel; Zaal was still unconscious. The impact was brutal, I thought for sure it was going to kill me. Pedestrians gathered around us, seeing if we were okay. A Salarian grabbed my hand and helped me up; Zaal was sitting near me.
"Thank you." I said quietly before taking a seat next to Zaal. He looked at me with praise. "Veetor, you saved me. If only we could have saved the feet, though." He looked at the ground, and I noticed he was crying. "My wife was on the same ship as me, she was killed." He looked at me, obviously sad. "Don't worry, we can stop the Collectors. I could use your help. If you want to help, that is." He patted me on the shoulder, grateful for my heroism. "First, we need to see the council."
The council was barely sympathetic. "Councillor, I request that we are allowed to have another embassy here." Zaal said bravely. "No Admiral, the Quarian embassy was taken out for a reason," said the Asari councillor. "Now, please leave." Zaal angrily obeyed. "We're going to have to stop the Collectors without their help. Come on, we're getting a ship."
At the docking bay, Zaal walked up to a Turian. "Sroki, get us a ship. Here, 25,000 credits." Zaal handed Sroki the credits; Sroki lead us to a frigate. It was average in size and was white with a red line going down the sides. "All yours, Zaal, it's already registered. Try not to do to much damage to it." Sroki said before walking away. Zaal lead me inside.
Inside, it was pretty large. Like most frigates, it has four decks. "Deck one is my room, nobody besides me is allowed up there," Zaal said before continuing on. "Armory, science lab, all the necessities. We need a scientist before we can use the lab, though." He stopped and turned around. "Ready to kill some Collectors, Veetor?" He said enthusiastically. |

@Gamer
It's like Mass Effect 2, basically. The major differences are that, instead of just Shepard's team, there will be hundreds, maybe thousands, working together to stop the Collectors.
That's basically this roleplay in a nutshell. I hope it was useful. |
|
|
"Before we go after the Collectors, we need a squad." I said. Zaal walked over to a nearby computer terminal. "Hm, Torok Kryik seems like a good start. He's the son of Nihlus Kryik, a spectre that was killed by Saren. Records show that he is a gifted soldier. Says he's on Illium." Zaal walked over to the pilot seat. "Just set the coordinates on the galaxy map and I'll fly us there.
After about two hours, we got to Illium. Zaal docked the ship, and I got out. Buildings covered the planet as far as I could see. I was greeted by an Asari who gave me directions to where Torok would be at. I walked down a couple of flights of stairs. As always, people were looking at me awkwardly. At the lowest level, I walked into a nearby restaurant. I saw Torok sitting at a table next to another Turian.
Suddenly, Torok punched the Turian and flipped the table over. At that same moment, almost all of the other Turians in the restaurant jumped up, guns pointed at Torok. Torok hid behind the table while he pulled out his assault rifle. He loaded his rifle with incendiary rounds and fired through the table, hitting every single Turian pointing a gun at him.
Some fell, but most stayed standing. He got out from cover and began spraying bullets. All but three Turians fell this time. A Krogan got up, yelled, and charged at Torok. The Krogan punched Torok in the face then lifted him into the air and threw him at the wall. The Krogan grabbed his shotgun and began advancing on Torok. Assault rifle out, I ran up to the Krogan and pushed him away.
He was angry. He punched me in the face, almost breaking my helmet. Seeing his chance, Torok shot down the Krogan before he could do more damage to us. The three Turians began shooting at me; a couple bullets hit me. Torok got down and shot two down of the Turians. The last one threw his weapon on the floor and began fistfighting with Torok.
Weak from fighting, Torok didn't stand a chance. The Turian knocked down Torok then grabbed his asault rifle. "I'm going to kill you with your own weapon!" The Turian jammed the assault rifle right into Torok's face. "Liko, you don't have to do this. Remember the good times we had together?" Liko lowered the gun then helped Torok up. He handed Torok hit gun, which he quickly grabbed. "Now, if you don't leave, I'll kill you." Afraid, Liko quickly ran off. |

Torok helped me up. "I don't think you just happened to be here. Hm, what do you want?" I said, "I'm gathering a team that can help stop the Collectors. I've heard you're very skilled." He looked at me with this stare that made me feel like he was reading my mind. "Very well. You could use a stunning person like me to liven up your dull personality." Then, he walked out of the restaurant and up a flight of stairs.
"So, what made you choose me?" He asked on our way back to the ship. "I've heard you've saved the lives of many." "Of course," he said. He stopped at a booth and bought us both a drink. "Here. Might as well enjoy my time with you, you'll probably die when we fight the Collectors." He drank some of the liquid. "Um, thanks?" He laughed before saying, "No problem."
Once we got back to the ship, the three of us met in the briefing room. "Where next? There's this Hanar scientist I've heard about. They say he's one of the most deadly Hanar in the galaxy," Torok said calmly, "Heard he's on Tuchanka, trying to help get the Hanar on the Council." Zaal shook his head and walked out of the room. "Apparently, that's were we're going." Torok said before leaving the briefing room.
I headed to the armory, thinking that Torok would be there. Sure enough, he was. "Oh, Veetor. Can I talk to you for a second?" I moved closer to Torok. "You know that my father, Nihlus, was killed by Saren, right?" I shook my head yes. "I never had anything to remember him by, only the people showing pity towards me because of his death. I don't like pity, Veetor. I knew they didn't actually care about me, they cared about my father, about all the things he did, all the lives he saved." There was a long pause. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get all emotional. Better let you get back to work." Torok said glumly. "It's okay, Torok...." I said, thinking about how awkward this moment was. |

He has saved the lives of many single-handed. He served in the Turian military for years, quickly rising through the ranks. He was a 1st Lieutenant until he dropped out for unknown reasons.
Zaal quickly got us to Tuchanka, where the Hanar was at. "Veetor, we've got to be careful on Tuchanka, it's the Krogan's homeworld." Kotor told me while Zaal landed the ship. On our way out, we were stopped by Zaal. "Hey Veetor, we should name our ship. What do you think about the 'Voyager?'" I said, "Sure, whatever you want." He seemed happy. "Good, I'll go update the ship's status so it's official that it's called 'Voyager!'" Then, he quickly walked back to the pilot's seat.
On the planet, me and Torok were greeted by two Krogan soldiers. "I assume you're looking for the Hanar scientist. He's probably dead by now." Said the larger Krogan. "Hold on, you do you sound like you not care? He's trying to save your species! You should be grateful!" Torok yelled. "As far as I can tell, all that he has done so far is kill Krogan in order to keep control among the clans." Torok, angered, pushed his way between them, and I followed after him. "Torok, do you have any ideas on where we could find the scientist?" Torok didn't reply, just lead me down a flight of stairs and down a hallway. "He's trying to help the Krogan recover from the genophage. Him and Urdnot Wrex are joining forces to have all the clans form into one. If he's killing Krogan, it's for a good reason."
The hallway lead to a large Krogan camp. Instantly, I noticed a Hanar talking to Krogan sitting in a stone throne. "That isn't Wrex, the one who helped kill Saren?" I asked Torok. "Indeed it is." Torok lead me up to them. "Wrex, good to see you!" Torok said as he got closer to Wrex. "Excuse me for interupting your meeting, but it is urgent." Wrex calmly said, "What is it, Torok? Another Krogan Warlord to help you in your wild missions?" Torok looked embarrassed. "Um, no, actually, I need the help of this Hanar to stop the Collectors. We could use you, too." Wrex didn't seem surprised. "Torok, I can't help, I have all these Krogan to watch. And with the help of Dr. Santom, I'll have every Krogan on this planet to watch after." Torok, disappointed, said, "We still need Dr. Santom, though." Dr. Santom looked directly at Torok. "This one is very grateful," he said. |

(This is happening at the same time as ME2's story, right? Just making sure...
BTW, great roleplaying, but slllloooowwww down. We've alreay recruited 2 people in under a page. :P )
Omega.
Telos was hurrying through the poorly-lit streets; that's if you could call them streets. The bulbs above flickered dimly, and small insects hovered infront of his face. A horrific grime coated the walls, and the stench of excrement filled the air. Telos nearly puked. Vorcha hung in every dark corner, and the screeches and moans of the homeless rung through the place like a bell. The Salarian bowed his head slightly, and considered his predicament.
How could he have arrived at such a hellish place? He was not welcome here- and the residents made sure that was clear. As he ran through the dark alleys, voices above him attracted his attention. The industrial areas of Omega were poorly built; more effort was put into the various exotic clubs than people's quality of life. The floors were made of thin metal sheets, and supported by fragile structured beams. Because of this design flaw, Telos could hear through the ceiling, and into the floor above. What he heard he was not pleased about.
As if to make his fears more realistic, a Krogan emerged from both ends of the corridor of which he was running through, and blocked his path. From behind one Krogan appeared a Turian. He was tall and had a strong build, but Telos needed no introduction.
"Kill him." the Turian snarled. The Krogans lunged at him from both sides, and Telos had barely the time to react. With a swift jab at his omni-tool, he sent a jet of flame igniting the first Krogan, killing him instantly. The other pummeled him, before slamming him to the ground. Telos yelped as it's scaly fist tightened around his neck. But although they are strong, Krogans are pften unintellegent, and Telos managed to pull his heavy pistol out of it's holster as he was crushed. As he breathed what was expected to be his final breath, he fired.
The Krogan screamed in pain, before toppling over, dead. The Turian howled in rage before diving at Telos himself. Before the Turian could perform the fatal blow, Telos lifted his pistol and shot clean through the monster's skull. The Turian rolled it's eyes, and collapsed sideways, falling through the window over the hard, rock surface of the asteroid's crust. |

Bump.
(Brickinator, I've only recruited one person so far, Torok. I'm on Tuchanka right now, TRYING to get the Hanar to join me.)
Wrex said, "You can take his Hanar after he helps us out. Could take years, could take hours." "Fine Wrex, what can we do to help?" Torok said impatiently. "This one needs help controlling the Yagnork clan. This one would be very grateful if you helped." The Hanar pointed a tentacle to a distant camp. "Very well, Torok, I'll have an escort guide you there." Wrex lazily snapped his fingers. Instantly, a yellow-scaled Krogan came running up behind us. He was obviously not a recruit, his body was covered in scars, some new, some old. He was tall and fit, looking like he was able to take down a pack of Varren by himself. "Mordik, escort these two to the Yagnork camp."
Without hesistation, the Krogan motioned for us to follow him. He lead us through the camp, which was obviously made out of the ruins of buildings, and to a MAKO. "Get in." He climbed in the driver's seat as we settled ourselves into the passenger seats. Once we were in, Mordik wasted no time, he instantly stepped on the gas pedal. He drove us through the long stretch of land connecting the two camps. "Torok, Wrex talked like you've been here before." I said, breaking the silence. "Yeah, Wrex allowed me to use some of his Krogan. He didn't like it, but he couldn't deny my request." Torok smiled as he said this. I was curious, I said, "Why?" "Helped him out once. After the Normandy was attacked and Shepard was killed, Wrex needed a ship to get back to his home planet, Tuchanka. And being the generous Turian I am, I allowed him to come with me there, in return that he could help me out when I needed it." He looked out the window, at the barren land that covered that seemed like ever inch of this planet.
We weren't welcomed at the camp, members of the Yangork clan greeted us with guns pointed at our heads. "Wrex sent us. He wants you to join him in helping the Krogans recover from the genophage." I said as I gently put my hand on my assault rifle. A Krogan that was obviously the leader pushed his way through the crowd. "Wrex can shove his plans for the Krogan down his throat, for all I care!" The leader was obviously angry. "You don't want you people to flourish again?" Torok said calmly. The leader grabbed his heavy pistol and shoved it in Torok's face. "Listen Turian, if you value your life, you'll go on back to Wrex." Torok, obviously angry, said, "If you value your life, you'll get that gun out of my face." The Krogan laughed as he moved the pistol over to Torok's temples. "Cry me a river!" Then, there was a loud band and the Krogan's body was lying on the ground. |
