the olympics contest is just about popularity. think about it. imagine if Fleskhjerta made a bogus and crappy level for the olympics contest, he'd probably win EVERY ring by now. Now imagine if Are92 made a very good place and got every ring by now. and his place was shared. Then someone would make the same thing with only a tiny bit of changes. that person would only get 3 visits =P. so its just popularity, no matter how much you advertise. |

Well those people have a good reputation for places. They deserve to win. If it was completly no fun at all people wouldn't go to it. It doesn't matter if they are popular or not. |

thats EXCACTLY it mouseman. You make a perfect place and no one visits it all because eveyone is to busy gawking in amazment at the famous levels. and i didnt say to disqualify them, i just said its kinda unfair. |

It's like this: suck it up. People can rise to the top with great places, like are92, miked, and all the others have. They worked hard just like you, only you didn't work hard enough. Look at the places on the front like Gladiator Minigames. Stealth Pilot worked a long time on that. |

But how did those people come to be famous? They made good places usualy. And they're expected to make more to continue being famous. If Are92 suddenly started to make palces like " Giant Plant" And its just a green plant mesh, he would start to lose popularity. |

At least this contest has prizes set by an achievement and not by "best this/that". And the contest isn't over yet, so you can always get more visits. ^.^
(Hint for getting visits: Do 1 for 1 visits with others seeking place visits; in other words, you visit their place and they visit yours...do this 100 times and you've got two rings for sure.)
I'm intent on getting at least one ring. I'd like all 5 but that'll never happen. |
