Why was the creation date on items removed?

I don't really see any point in removing it. The only way to see it on our own items is in the Develop page now.

I would have said "to add more space for other things in the list" to give a helpful response even if it was guessing.. .. but then I saw it really /was/ unnecessary.

The creation date was useful in finding out if a user copied another user's item and got profit from it. Relying on when the items' were last updated, favorites and sales counters is unreliable and makes the original creator look like they're falsely accusing whoever copied their item.
