High King – The High King (lamadog12) is the absolute monarch of the Kingdom. Unlike most kings, he will participate in important battles among his soldiers as an officer. He is advised by his Warleader and Council of Jarls but will ultimately make the final decisions when it comes to political relations of the Kingdom. Warleader – The Warleader (CoolPowerBomb) is the leader of the army and second-in-command to the High King. The Warleader is the highest skilled fighter of the army and a long-time veteran of war. Although the military is his number one priority, the Warleader will make and will help make decisions when it comes to political relations. Council of Jarls – The highest attainable rank, the Council of Jarls are a group of high-ranking nobility that come together along with the High King and Warleader to make important decisions about the Kingdom. They have their own elite divisions/groups that they can manage. Hersir – Hersirs are generals of the army. This rank is the highest attainable military rank in the Kingdom. As they hold important roles, they may discuss and influence higher-ups for various decisions. Hersirs must be hand-selected by the High King or Warleader. Merkismathr – Merkismathrs are officers of the army, and are equivalent to the rank of Colonel. Hersirs do not usually host events/trainings/battles unless they are very important, so Merkismathrs will usually be the ones doing this. Radnigar – Radnigar ranks are the lowest-level officers and usually host trainings and can lead in battle if needed. Aesir – Aesirs are comparable to an NCO rank. They are not quite ready to host trainings, but usually help out or assist in them and can host them under supervision occasionally. Huskarl – Huskarls are the highest-skilled of the army infantry. They have lots of battle experience. Berserker – Highly skilled fighters and special infantry units. Marauder – Skilled fighters Viking – Normal soldiers of the army that show satisfactory skill. Thegn – Fighters with little experience. Herra – Freshly recruited into the army, have no experience. ThraII – Recruited into the army but not yet accepted.
