So, this is going to pretty much describe how the letter graded ranks will work. D Rank- This is for people who either have just enlisted into the Trainee Corps or have not been considered 'skilled' enough to enter a branch. C Rank- This is the normal soldier rank. Do not feel 'down' or anything if you're C. You're an average skilled soldier and this rank proves you're able to graduate into a branch. B Rank- This takes more effort, and the Military Police high ranks have permission to permit B Ranks into their A Rank- Extremely skilled soldiers, and they may freely join the Military Police if they desire to do so. S Rank- To obtain this, you must be considered 'Humanity's Top Tier Fighter(s)'. And yes, you need to have your skill proven by an Administrator [or Head/Lead Developer]. The chances of obtaining this are less than 1%. Your grade stays with you for your entire career. For example, let's say you are a C Rank who wants to join the Stationary Guard. Upon obtaining Elite Squadron [in any branch, not just for SG], or Officer, your grade would move up by 1, making you B Class skilled. Although, this is only if you're a C Rank. That being said, you cannot sit in the Trainee Corps until you achieve 'S' or 'A' grades. The minimum amount of trainings a cadet must attend to graduate is 5, and the most you can attend is 10 to remove any sort of time-wasting to become an S or A grade skill level. Although, if you are a D rank after 10 trainings [praying nobody has to actually go through this] you are going to keep being trained until you are able to graduate. Keep in mind, getting past C Grade Level takes a work and dedication, this is why S ranks are so treasured. **ONLY COMMANDERS MAY RAISE SOMEONE'S SKILL LEVEL** Captains may recommend C Grade skill level soldiers to their Commanders to become B skill level. Assistant of the Commander may recommend B level soldiers to A level. Commanders need special permission from group Administrators or Developers to rank anyone from A level to S level, with valid proof of their skill.
