*Promotions within the Clan correspond with promotions in the village that the clan is in. Please refer to the Rank Requirement forum in the Village and Clan Interdependence Information forum for more information. The following information is a general guideline on how to earn each rank. Promotions go in order from Branch House to Branch Elder to Branch Council to Branch House Leader to Main House to Main Elder to Main Council to Main House Leader to Clan Chief. I. Accepted by Branch Council: A. Branch House: - Clan Applications. II. Promoted by Branch House Leader: A. Branch House to Branch Elder (Genin Rank required): - Recognition through activity. - Professional and Disciplined. - Excels in overall performance. - Recommendations from the Branch Council are approved by one BH Leaders. III. Promoted by Main Council: A. Branch Elder to Branch Council (Chunin Rank required): - Shows characteristics of leadership to qualify for a promotion. - Recognition through activity. - Professional and Disciplined. - Excels in overall performance. - Recommendations from the Branch House Leaders are approved by the Main Council. B. Branch Council to Branch House Leader (Chunin Rank required): - Shows leadership qualities. - Recognition through activity and hosting events. - Professional and Disciplined. - Excels in overall performance as a Shinobi of the Branch Council. - Proves to fulfill the responsibilities as a Shinobi of the Branch Council. IV. Promoted by Main House Leader: A. Branch House Leader to Main House (Chunin Rank required): - Shows leadership qualities. - Recognition through activity and hosting events. - Professional and Disciplined. - Excels in overall performance as a Branch House Leader. - Proves to fulfill the responsibilities as a Branch House Leader. - Recommendations from the Main Council are approved by one of the Main House Leaders. B. Main House to Main Elder (Tokubetsu Jonin Rank required): - Shows leadership qualities. - Considered as a role model to other Shinobi in the clan. - Recognition through activity. - Professional and Disciplined. - Excels in overall performance as Main House. - Proves to fulfill the responsibilities as Main House. - Qualifies as a "great Shinobi" to the clan. - Recommendations from the Main Council are approved by one of the Main House Leaders. V. Promoted by the Clan Chief: A. Main Elder to Main Council (Tokubetsu Jonin Rank required): - Recommendations from the Kage of the village are approved by the Clan Chief. - Recommendations, and decisions on the promotion are done through a meeting between the Main House Leaders, the Clan Chief, and the Kage of the village. B. Main Council to Main House Leader (Jonin Rank required/earned): - All Main House Leaders of the clans within the village are automatically promoted to Jonin within the Village. - When the position becomes available for a clan to have a Main House Leader, there will be a position available for Jonin in the village as well. - When the position becomes available, the Clan Chief and the Kage of the village will meet to pick which Shinobi (or Shinobis) of the Main Council will earn the promotion. *If the Clan Chief were to step down, or be removed/demoted as punishment, the Main House Leaders will vote on one of their current Main House Leaders to become the new Clan Chief of the clan.
