This handbook explains everything an Officer in the UKVI will need to know. This will form part of training where candidates will need to read this documentation in order to do their job to the best of their ability. Contents: - Ranks - Uniform - Expectations and Duties - Lockdowns - Checking people through the border. - Citizens - Tourists - VIPs Ranks: Junior Immigration Officer- You need to read the handbook and learn the job to become an Officer. This rank usually patrols with an Officer+ if available and learns new things. Immigration Officer- This rank comes to work and does their job well. Senior Immigration Officer- This rank comes to work and does their job really well as they have done it for a while. Supervisatory Board- This rank supervises the ranks below and disciplines them if they show misconduct. They also run trainings. Deputy Director- They run the UKVI while the Director is away and take on the role of Supervisatory Board when he is here. Uniform: Uniform is the UKVI clothing found in the group store. If you cannot afford it at a minimum you need black trousers and a suitable shirt. Officer+ may be able to get their uniform funded if they show commitment. Expectations: - All Officers should patrol at least 30 minutes a day but they are allowed one day off a week for emergencies or commitments. - You need to be respectful to all citizens and tourists. - Wear your uniform. - Use your tools properly. - Listen to superiors. Duties: - To run the border checkpoint. - To arrest tourists without a visa who are past the checkpoint. - To provide information on how to get citizenship. - To provide backup to other home security services when the suspect is a tourist. - To prevent tourists working in jobs in the UK. Lockdowns: Level 1 lockdown- The border allows everyone in but everyone is searched, not just tourists. Anyone who passes illegally shall be detained. (Additional barriers are put up around the checkpoint. It can only be authorised by a Senior Officer+) Level 2 lockdown- The border allows UK citizens and VIPs in but no tourists. Anyone who passes shall be detained. (Additional barriers are put up around the checkpoint, including the gamepass door. It can only be authorised by a Supervisor+) Level 3 lockdown- The border allows VIPs in but no UK citizens or tourists. Anyone who passes shall be shot. (Barriers are placed at the entrance to the border so noone can even enter there. It can only be authorised by a Supervisor+) Level 4 lockdown- The border is closed to all apart from the highest of VIPs, anyone who passes shall be shot. (Barriers are places at the start of the border, staff are on both sides to ensure no fence jumpers. It can only be authorised by a Deputy+.) Level 5 lockdown- YOU SHALT NOT PASS! (The maximum security is required. It can only be authorised by a Deputy+.) Checking people through the border: Citizens: - You can randomly pick them for a search. - You can randomly question them. - You must either let them in or arrest (only arrest them if they are wanted, AoS, they commit a crime at the border.) Tourists: - All must be asked these three questions (You can ask more): - Why have you decided to visit the UK today? - Any weapons you wish to declare? - Any bad intentions? - You must search all of them. - They must be given a visa if they are accepted in. - You may arrest, let them in or send them back out (Only arrest if they run past the border to avoid searching or questioning, if they are wanted, AoS or have committed a crime at the border.) VIPs: - They may be allowed straight through. - No searches. - Let them in but if they are trouble keep them watched. - Visa them if they are foreign. By: Sudanrush64, Director-General
