This forum post shows all MR's and HR's how to run an interview, we want all the interviews to be unique and fun so there aren't too many rules to go by, but you must go by everything said here or else you will be demoted.
--HOST GUIDE--
--Announcing the interview--
To announce an interview, post this group shout on the wall, try not to make any mistakes.
[INTERVIEWS] Interviews being hosted by [Your name] at [Time of interview*], come to the interview center to get a job!
*Make the time no later than an hour later than you shouted it and no earlier than 5 mins and post the time in the current british time zone and your time zone, if you can't convert the time then request help from someone.
--Running the interview--
After you have shouted that on the group page, head down to the interview center and wait for people to join, in the meantime kick anyone who's account age is below one month, we allow safechatters though, and you will be demoted if you do a safechat test.
Make sure all staff are on the wall before the time stated in the group shout.
One it get's to the time stated in the group shout, make sure there is not more staff than interviewees, if there is, kick some staff until there is the same amount of interview capable staff as customers, lock the server using admin commands and then shout this on the group page: [INTERVIEWS] Slocked, sorry if you couldn't make it!
After that use :m with these messages in the order stated here.
(You don't have to copy these completley, but make sure everyone knows the rules.)
#1: Welcome to the Starblox cafe interviews, we wish you all good luck and hope you pass!
#2: We will now go over the rules, please listen carefully.
#3: Please use grammar at all times, it is required to pass.
#4: Please remember that if you use inconsistent grammar at the cafe, you might get demoted.
#5: Please listen to staff at all times, if you don't you will be kicked, please respect your interviewer too!
#5: Please don't complain if you fail, just attend another interview!
#6: And finally.. have fun! I will now teleport the interviewers to their booths, then they will teleport you to the booths to get interviewed!
Become invisible using admin and secretly go around watching the interviewers for a while, and maybe even suggest promotions to good interviewers. ;)
Then become visible and wait for the interviewers to finish and bring they're either passed or failed interviewers to you, if they have passed, rank them to Trainee, then kick them and tell them to attend a training session, if they fail, kick them and tell them to try again!
After everyone has been interviewed, host a shift. (see the shift guide the the Cafe description)
--INTERVIEWER GUIDE--
Wait until there is an interview being hosted, then go to the interview center and wait until the time posted on the group shout then line up with the other staff on the wall that the door to the booths is on, and wait until you are teleported by the interview host to the booth, then pick someone who isn't currently being interviewed and teleport them to your booth with admin commands, then say:
Hi! I am [your username], I will be interviewing you today, do you have any questions before we start?
Awnser any questions they might have then ask them these questions in order.
(You must ask these questions and ONLY these questions, not doing this will result in a demotion)
#1: Which job do you want and why? (Barista or Security)
#2: If they awnser Security then ask: Can you tell me how many warnings you give to a
troll before contacting a MR or HR? (The correct awnser is 3)
#2: If they awnser Barista then ask: Do you wish to become a Senior Barista and
eventually an Interviewer?
#3: Will you use consistent grammar even when no one is there to report you?
#4: Out of ten, how active will you be in this group? Please don't put ten just to sound good, we rely on honesty here to keep a good community.
#5: Do you have any experience with other groups? Which ones?
#6: How fast of a typer are you?
#7: What skills do you have that may benefit our group?
#8: Do you have any questions before I give you your results?
It's your choice if they pass or not, do not let sympathy affect your decision, if they answered all the questions good without much or any sign of exaggeration, then pass them, but if they had inconsistent grammar, or answered the questions not very well, then fail them, use :name [player] [name] to say if they passed or not.
If they pass then take them to a HR to be ranked, if they failed, take them to a HR to be kicked.
If there are no more interviewees to be interviewed, then talk to a HR and request to be leaved, if there are still people to be interviewed, tell a HR what your doing and then teleport an interviewee to your booth.
