The Doe
"Bah! I don't care about you! It's the monument I want!!" I say, as I destroy the Monument of Glory. I break the hero statue, leaving only a villain. The Inferno got too distracted with me to realize that I was going to destroy it anyways.
"LET'S DANCE!" I taunt, and I run towards him at a quick speed, and take the Inferno down, holding my huge sword to his throat.

*Towering Inferno*
"You can destroy the statue, you can kill the mayor, you can stop the police, you can even control the whole army, but you can't claim our lives!" I say to The Doe loudly as I knock out his sword with a quick reaction fueled with fire.
"MEGAMTERO IS THE HEROS PLACE," I get up and uppercut him. "AND YOU SHALL BE HANDED TO JUSTICE!" I take him down and put a fireball close to his face.

Not this time.
I grab the ruins thrown at me, thanks to super strength. Wish I didn't forget I had that power.
I spin it in a circle, and throw it back. |

The Dark Arachnid
I catch it. "QUITE IMPRESSIVE."
But I've only got a couple hundred thousand spiders on my body.
"BUT NOW... MORE... MORE!"
I raise my arms, and even more spiders come swarming out from all the darkest parts of MegaMetro, building and building up. I grow larger and larger, my new form impossible to stop.
"I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED!"
My voice booms over MegaMetro. My entire form twists and shifts.
"PREPARE TO MEET YOUR DOOM!"
I'm fifty feet tall. But more. More spiders! MORE!
The street cracks under my weight. But the spiders won't stop. They keep on swelling my form, making me taller and fatter.
Finally. Two hundred million spiders. A third of my forces.
And I'm a massive spider made up of spiders.
Each one of my legs is easily twenty feet thick, and reach up taller than a skyscraper. I leer down at Gear.
"I HOPE YOU'RE READY FOR A REAL FIGHT!"
And with that, I bring down one of my legs to crush him for good.
(I know this is getting ridiculously OP, but live with this. There is an end soon. This is Stage 2.) |

Gear
I try to hold the leg up, but I'm slowly failing. Armor going down to 40... 30... 25...
BOOM.
The leg managed to crush Gear. But he was somehow still alive-somehow. |

[DARK MAYHEM]
I watch all the fights in my mind. I don't know how I did this but it just came as a vision. I close the vision and watch up close, and I mean close. |

The Dark Arachnid
My leg crushes Gear with a CRUNCH of breaking armor. I withdraw it.
"DONE SO SOON?"
The spiders swirl around me, as I bend down to examine the prone body of my foe. The spiders part, and I step out of the spider construct, my daggers drawn.
I raise Death's Grip.
"Say goodbye."
But before I can stab Gear, an icy-cold wind blows across the square.
I stop.
"Who is this?"
The wind strengthens, and snow-literal snow-begins to gust through the area.
"Who dares stop me?"
The snow solidifies into a form. A person.
The Frozen Serpent.
"YOU!"
My spiders are shriveling up. "HOW DARE YOU!"
"Insects live during the summer. They grow in number, and become strong. But what about the winter?"
The spider construct collapses behind me.
"The winter is when insects die."
"RETREAT, SPIDERS!"
My spiders pour away back into the sewers from which they came. Damn! I lost hundreds of thousands to that!
"There will be no retreat for you, I'm afraid."
He draws his katanas. |

Gear
I'm not even that badly hurt-true, my armor is ridiculously damaged, down to 5, but no damage to me.
I pull out my own katanas.
"In your debt again, I see."
Then, I sheathe my katanas... and throw off my right arm piece.
There was no real arm. Only a molten arm made up of only lava.
Then I throw off the left one. An arm made of ice was in place of a real arm.
"Time for my revenge." |

But The Frozen Serpent raises his katana.
"Do not interfere."
His voice is dangerously quiet.
"This is a fight between the two of us. Isn't that right, Arachnid?"
She nods. "There's a power gap between the two of us that even fancy new arms can't bridge. Do you remember, Serpent?"
"I would not discuss it in front of him."
Arachnid inclines her head. "Very well. But the past won't remain down forever, Serpent..."
"And I don't intend it to. But that's not where we are right now."
She nods. "I'll fight you again soon."
Arachnid vanishes in a flurry of spiders.
Serpent turns to Gear. "There is one opponent who only I can fight. That woman is not to be trifled with. Now, make yourself scarce. There are civilians to aid."
He looks up at the sky. "I had no idea she had come back... but I must be off. From now on, I will probably never see you again. I have repaid my debts to you, but it's time things changed in this city. And I will be the one to change them."
The Serpent casts down a silver snowflake amulet and vanishes in a blur of snow. |

"Hmph-I owe you one."
I run off, lobbing civilians out of danger.
"RUN! Get out of here!" |

(I'm going to enter a more passive role for a while. Serpent and Arachnid have a feud, and I'd like to unveil that. But first, I need to have this conflict end. Just to be clear, Arachnid's spiders are all gone, the square is half-covered in snow, Arachnid's webs are decaying, City Hall is a ruin, and most of the civs have been saved. If it's alright with Golden, I'll take on the role of scene-setter/play the part of any minor heroes/villains we encounter.) |

The Scythe
The figure dressed in scarlet red, a color near the sunset behind them stood atop a building, watching the fight below.
If this other villain took the hero out, there'd be o ne less problem for them.
On e less 'hero' among the streets, on e step closer to getting rid of all them. T
he scythe clan had been their family, and they wouldn't rest until vengeance was their's.
