frankly it really surprises me that so many people here do computer science
personally i think my affiliation with clans over the years geared me more towards doing something history-related given the analytical and essay-writing skills i acquired through this game
i may as well say mine - geology
the problem is i switched from geography to music at the beginning of year 12 meaning i only have one science A-level now, so it's been a hell of a lot harder to find good universities willing to take on a student falling slightly short of the typical entry requirements
that being said manchester birmingham and exeter are top universities that are more lenient with my situation

personally i think history should be a compulsory GCSE, it's real important given that i'd hardly say the risk of another global conflict due to evil men has passed
crap on english literature students instead :) |

history gets hard at a level
the coursework involves a LOT of reading
unless you're going into historical academia i'd recommend stopping history after a level though, universities value the a level regardless of the subject because it shows all-rounder skills but to employers a degree in history is only ranked 42nd in most employable subjects
still though, english lit BLEGH
i just did an AS in that and i don't think it is worth anything at all
should've dropped that instead of geography
