But seriously, get rid of the filters. Go back to the old filter system you used in 2011-2012. Much better.
I just tried to make a historical country with a name in Scottish Gaelic, and I can't because the word "al ba" (without the space) is censored for whatever reason when making a group. I've searched high and low and there is nothing at all inappropriate about the word, nor is there any reason for it to be considered inappropriate.
