The darkness consumed me. You thought I would forget. You told me that this would all just go away! You told me that I would forget! But it's always in my head... Now - now, hahah, the darkness consumes me. Shadowy figures surround me. Long grey fingers, ugly and charred skin, the only human resemblance of them was the mouth, but... Instead of teeth, they just had torn out strings of bleeding gum. They were just about to ##### ### I was paralysed! I couldn't do anything! Heart racing, BANG - there was an earpiercing screech, and they were gone. I could move again. Heart still racing, I whispered to myself, "Sleep paralysis!" It was 2:05 am, confined to my room, I decided to run back through my day. That's when I heard a slight tapping noise, well, that's what I thought at first, but it was too soft to be a tap, but too hard to be a branch swiping the window. I swear that I heard a deep, gravely, but quiet voice mutter "Look out of the window." Slightly louder now, I heard it again, "Look out of the window" Silently, I panicked. Inside of my mind I was screaming "What the is that?! What is that?! Suddenly, the curtains flew open and tore off! I turned to look - that - that was a big mistake! And then I saw it. It had the wings of a massive bat, the fangs of a wolverine, the wrinkled body of a gremlin. But the eyes - the eyes were very, very human! It had ancient aura about it. Once our eyes met contant. I couldn't break it. I half cried and half screamed! It said to me, "Young man, your birthdate was February 18th 1994, your death date, well - that's sooner than you think..." And with that, it lifted its finger and as it travelled upwards a deep, black slash appeared on my shoulder. It burned deeply into my flesh, however, our gaze was still locked in. And just like that, it was gone. I swore to myself never to look out of the window at night again! But it visited me every night, it was impossible to sleep! About a week later, after I started therapy with you, my therapist, you told me it was a nightmare and that I would forget. It came back and told me something I would never forget, it chilled me to the very bone! "At 2:05 am, again, I heard the voice, it wasn't telling me to look out of the window, oh, no. It Muttered to me "Tick - tock! Tick - tock!"
