I pretty much agree with your assessment about how it would serve as a major hindrance to NBCers. However, you mentioned that there were "much better solutions" than merely scrapping tix in response to the issue of botting and whatnot, and I'm rather curious as to what you think some of those "better solutions" could be.

ROBLOX removed TIX for a reason if you wanna find out you can easily find it in the TIX removal blog Heres the reason (i think): "We do not want to incentivize people to “check in” every day." |

Incorrect. In that blog post they said they were turning a profit and even hiring new employees - which definitely means that it wasn't done out of need. If they needed the revenue, they'd anchor the Tix to ROBUX conversion rate at a steep rate (like 1k Tix for 1 R$# ### ###v#####ROBUX prices.
Instead, they said they removed them to make it more simple - but the TIX system was already simple - you got ten tix a day and you could use them on whatever you like, even ROBUX. (Although the Tix to ROBUX got broken by the massive TIX supply due to the botters.
Nowadays we have the elitist BC, not realizing the ad revenue from NBC's is what is keeping their games going, the weird BC that recognize that and want a way for them to engage in ALL of the site so they have a higher user retention rate, and the NBC's, all screeching for free currency of some form or another.
Also - if ROBLOX isn't reading S&I, why have it around in the first place - as its mere existence is deception. |

They could have easily crushed mass botting by blocking use of free email sites and only allowing one account per email. (Most people only have one to three legitimate email ones, not the crappy free ones that anyone can access.)
Secondly, they could have removed NBC's ability to transfer currency to other people.
Third, they could require CAPTCHA verification on login to receive rewards.
Fourth, they could just watch for routine donation patterns with no explanation (e.g. One user donating all of his daily TIX to another user; would be different from one user paying his dev team.
Or, heaven forbid, they could actually get moderators to DO THEIR JOBS. 'o'

The idea is superb!.Props to you man but theres a problem.
If ROBLOX bring back tix now they will lose income which is obvious but now for a good one
If they bring it back the amount of players who buyed robux would DISLIKE this idea as they lose money and dissagree. This is a long time to bring back and we could have bring it back in early stages not now |

Honestly, devaluing gear was 8x more devastating to the economy than removing a simple log-in bonus. Stop saying that the reason was because bots got their daily 1 ###### ## a post many years ago, roblox said that a user attempted this and made about 5k. They got banned shortly after. Even if they kept it minimal and made 500 robux by the end of the month, that wouldn't be enough to buy even 0.01% of the catalog. Ik most of the values are censored in this post, but the daily log in bonus is nothing. When they made all those updates to the way gear has to be brought into games, they made it worthless. That has literally resulted in thousands of robux every day no longer being spent on gear. A whole subcategory of their catalog is completely worthless because it can't be used in almost 99% of games. Idk when this system was put in place, but the old one allowed you to bring gear that was allowed in games based on what categories the owner allowed. I think that since I've come back, most limited gear is completely undesirable now. And that is compared to the high demand for it before I left the game a few years back. Even though I logged into the website every day, I could not understand why the price of my energy sword dropped from 3000 to 899, that is until I re-installed the game last month. |

That link I posted earlier was to a thread of my idea of a new currency.
My idea is bringing tix back as "Event Robux", which is a "division" of Robux that you can only earn through event participation.
Here's some problems that tix caused and how Event Robux can counter that.
- Alternate Accounts
Event Robux cannot be traded with other users.
- Bots
ReCaptcha before sign up.
-Inflation
There will be no trade currency.
Ok, what do you guys think?
