I looked down in anger, thinking with deep thought.
I looked back at Shane, not as angry anymore.
I nodded & said "Then so be it, Shane. Leave the gang... Stand up to your father."
I pick up his fedora & hand it to him, "Just in case." I say.
I walk back into the hideout. |

I close the door to the hideout & enter my room.
I close the door & sit down on my bed.
I hold my switchblade in my hand & say "Good times, good times."
I put my switchblade away & lay down, relaxing. |

I didn't tell James everything because my dad is from the gang Vinnie is from. I go to Vinnie's hideout and there I find my dad.
"Dad. I quit the Flying Eagles..."
"WHAT!?! HOW COULD YOU!!!!" He says in rage.
"I never wanted to join a gang."
"You do realize I'm going to have to kill you. Hey guys! We got a Flying Eagle in here. Get rid of him now!!!"
I run to a dark alley and then, I find a dead end. They got me surrounded and I have nowhere to run.

Falcon was standing on the rooftops, watching the city.
He saw Shane run into an alley & saw Vinnie's gang surrounding him.
Falcons eyes grew big & Falcon sprinted back to the hideout. |

My dad walks up to me and gives me a look. |

Falcon burst through the hideout door & knocks on my door loud.
"What!?" I yell.
I open the door & see Falcon.
"The Killing Shadows have got Shane surrounded in a alley!" Falcon yells.
I think for a minute then grab my bat & switchblade.
"Let's go." I say running out the door.
30 of The Flying Eagles run out of the hideout, holding different weapons.
I lead the way but Falcon guides me to the alleyway. |

My dad trips me and I fall to the ground. I also have no weapons to fight back with. He gets some of his big and buff gang members to beat me up. |

When they finished beating me up they throw me to the ground. It starts to rain heavily as well. |

Falcon, me & the 30 Flying Eagles stand in the entrance of the alleyway.
The Killing Shadows have there backs to me as they beat up Shane.
"Stop!" I yell.
Everyone & everything stops, Shadow looks & see's me & my boys.
"Ah, James Eagle... What are you doing here?" Shadow yells.
"Saving a fellow gang member, well used to be a gang member." I yelled back.

I hold my bat over my shoulder & smirk at Shadow.
Rain comes pouring down on us as we stare down each other.
I close my eyes & fall to one knee.
I open my eyes & look at Shadow evilly.
I scream & charge at the Killing Shadows, my boys & Falcon run behind me.
We all clash together in the alleyway & it turns into a brawl. |

After 30 minutes, the brawl stopped & all eyes were on Me & Shadow.
We both flipped out our switchblades & circled around each other as we stared each other down.
The Flying Eagles yelled & screamed "James!" And I few other things.
The Killing Shadows yelled & screamed for Shadow.
We clashed together, ripping each other apart.
Sirens were heard in the distance, "Fuzz!" Falcon shouted.
Everyone ran expect for me & Shadow. |

I run with Falcon. I stop for a moment and look at James. Then, I continue running. |

(1950's man. Lots of gan.gs were back then. I'm not stereotyping, The Cross and the Switchblade is based off of this kinda life. A preacher comes & preaches to the gan.gs of New York after The Dragons murdered Micheal Farmer. I don't want to explain it all but this is based of The Cross and the Switchblade, a true story. I have nothing against New York City, I actually think it's quite beautiful in a way.) |

Everyone expect me & Shadow are out of the alleyway.
Shadow & me rip each other apart with our switchblades.
We both aimed for the legs, causing us both to fall down.
Me & Shadow tried to stand up but the cut was to deep.
The Fuzz came running down the alleyway & arresting us.
Shadow cursed & yelled at the officers, I didn't say a word... I had respect for the fuzz. |

I look at both of them getting arrested from a distance. "Don't worry, James. I got your back." I say to myself. |

Shadow & me both get put in different cop cars.
I stay silent but Shadow goes off at the cops.
They put the baton to his neck & he shuts up in fear.
I grin at the site of that.
Both cop cars drive away, heading towards the police station/jail. |

I watch the cop car drive away. I get into my black Corvette and follow them hoping the cops don't realize I'm following them. |

I lean back in the cop car & rest my eyes, I didn't like getting arrested but I respected these officers.

A few minutes later they arrive at the police station. I watch them go inside. I park my cars 4 blocks away from the station and make my way to the police station. |
