Hello, Roblox did use a user-voice voting program for a period of time (many years ago). They included one or two of the top suggestions in an update and quickly abandoned the suggestion feature all together. This was because all the way at the top, with more than ten thousand supporters was the suggestion to give veteran players a tiny ### ## ########## ####### Roblox hasn't been interested in our opinions for quite some time. Well, we can at least vote on hats. |

The tags represent one robux every day or something like that. The web-page I was talking about is no longer online though. It used to be, back in 2011.

Full support. ROBLOX just make's updates that the community hates, like the default colors. It would be great if there was a voting system! Great idea! |

However, Roblox is NOT the United States. Most of the population is adults. I still would enjoy 13+ so younger players don't vote, though.

I feel like this will make Roblox devs and the community more connected, which will be a good move for Roblox, since people won't get mad as often due to updates.
One con, however, is that flame wars might get started between two ideas that would be voted. Say the two ideas were, "Reduce SafeChat for 13+" and "More free items in the catalog". Of course, both of the ideas are pretty good (my opinion), but some who voted "Free items" say, "I don't want reduced SafeChat because people might say bad words", but someone else might say, "Well, it's only reduced, not removed", and it goes on between groups of people. Similar to in some threads here.
Also, if the system ends up having multiple choices, like 5 or 6 of them, it might be good to run on a single transferable vote system to make it more fair.
Still, though, pros outweigh cons to this system.
P.S. Do you think there would be just 2 ideas pit against each other or would there be a bigger number like 5? Also would we be using something like single transferable vote or first pass the post? (Just your thoughts) |

Tbh, I don't know where you got the multiple choices thing.
But here's what I mean.
Picture if this feature was implemented.
Roblox decides to ask the players if the current filter should be reverted to the old filter, and the only choices are yes and no and you have to explain why for both of them.
Suppose at the same time Roblox puts another voting station for another update, such as "Should we only use default clothes for realistic skin tones?", then both voting stations will go on.
If more people say yes than no, then the update will be implemented.
