A limitation to creating single player games on the Roblox platform is that you are still subject to server problems, such as trying to access something that hasn't yet loaded (rectified by extraneous lines of code) or limitations with accessing the player camera. Therefore I would like a way to create single player games that are compiled and downloaded to the host computer, bypassing the server model completely. The server model is designed for multiplayer games but as a diverse platform, a lot of good single player games could be made this way and it would increase technological potential. I'm making a game in the style of the old Lego Island games, using a master script to define game events; it's frustrating that I can't use a master script to control the player camera for cutscenes etc, and I have many games where loading times cause an issue.
