I had to repost this, because people did not understand any important information, or did not have any common sense.
I have an idea on how to get rid of the inactive accounts that flood Roblox and causes many problems.
The problems are small but can be fixed nonetheless.
There are accounts that have not been used in years with names that cannot be used again. This is annoying when I was first playing Roblox back in 2012, and I had to rethink my username five times! Now after all of these bots, it will be more insane to find a perfect username!
Another issue is that they flood the search section of Roblox. There have been many times where I wanted to search for a single person, and then going through thirty pages of accounts that have not been used in years.
Now, if an account that is not verified:
-Has not been used in five years straight
=deleted.
If an account that is verified:
-Has not been used in two years straight
=Roblox will send an email to the address that is linked to the account asking if they still want the account.
-If they respond yes, then the account will not be deleted.
-If they respond no, then the account will be deleted.
-If there is no response, then the email will remain valid for three months or so, and if time runs out, then the account is deleted.
Q/A
Q: What about old administrator accounts like erik.cassel and builderman. Wouldn't they get deleted as well?
A: I am suggesting on excluding accounts with the following:
-Used, were used, or affiliated with the Roblox staff.
-Has over 2,500 RAP or 5,000 robux
-Has over 100,000 place visits or 10,000 followers.
-Were deleted from Roblox (This is so nobody can make an account with some name from a banned user, like JuliusColes)
Q: I don't check my emails! How could I save my account?
A: Be responsible, and check your emails. I should not be bashed at just because of someone's laziness.

A: Wow, I never knew you would completely throw away a suggestion that could do lots of good things because I "Might" use it for malicious intent. Why would you just suggest that out of the blue? You don't know me! You don't know that I am probably a person who wants Roblox to be better and not a complete jerk. Quite imbecilic to just assume like that.

Pretty good i'd say, however I suggest that there should be an account archive which User's who are a 2-3 Year veteran can upload certain accounts to be archived, either their hacked originals or something else. |

You're probably just trying to lie that you don't want a name snipe when you really do. It's better to admit it.

Also, if you're having trouble finding a user just because of those many accounts, then just ask Roblox to sort users by Alpha or by Last Login Date.

Please don't be Club Penguin back in 2009. They did the exact same thing and there was a huge outrage. Imagine ROBLOX and it's rabid community as of now. What would happen? |
