@Clanner; Lol the video was just meant to tell you the plugins/tools necessary to become a (IMO) better builder
I'll make another video explaining how to actually START building tonight/tomorrow |

In the video you showed that you can rotate bricks while keeping the edges connected (4:34 in the video), but you didn't really explain how to do it, and I couldn't figure it out on my own.
How do you do it?

The one thing that changed everything was the "T" with cframe. |

you can't build if you don't got the imagination tho :(
With power, comes an exceeding force. |

Some bad tips
"you don't wanna use studio tools"
studio tools are really refined and are perfect for basic things, just advanced stuff like edge select is better w plugins
@Norskee; When you have Rotate Tool selected (C), you press T and hovering over any edges should have the X pop up, then you just click to pick the edge.
@Minstronomer; Well, it isn't necessarily a "bad tip". Yes, ROBLOX Studio is good for basic things, but plugins are plenty more efficient and cover not only the basic things that the ROBLOX Studio covers, but also a lot more. Rather than switching back and forth between two things, it's much much faster to stick to one plugin that covers the broader range of functions.
And this doesn't just go for F3X, it applies to SBS as well. |
bruh u aint even that good lmao |
@Meliorus; I'm making another video soon that will cover the sorts of "tricks" I use to spark creativity, but until then I can give you a brief overview of what I usually do:
I find plenty of concept art by just googling whatever I'm looking for and adding the word "concept" or "concepts" afterwards. It doesn't work for EVERYTHING, but it should cover most things. Example being, if you want to find cool sci-fi bases to build, you can google "Sci fi base concepts" or "sci fi world concepts", etc.
The concept art is really what sparks any creativity, then afterwards just think of small (or large) changes you'd make to a really neat image if you were to build that image. |
i correct myself, its good for its style, as in the basic plain look, coloring is great, its basically something roblox front page games would use. |
@Velbex; Opinions are cool but you really haven't seen everything I've built.
One example being: https://www.roblox.com/games/233253606/Tommy-Hilfiger-Homestore
And I've also made another showcase which I'll get a link to in a second. |
:D
Yeah, I wasn't going for a really realistic look just cause it takes literally years for a big game and I just don't really like taking that long to build something that may end up really laggy lol |
