I just began commuting with my new vehicle and not 30 seconds after getting on the interstate, some guy one car ahead of me slams on their brakes and the person behind them tries to cut right but rear-end's anyway. I hold down my brakes and miss the car directly ahead of me by a couple feet at most (my following distance was fine, just I was checking people on the on ramp merging in case I needed to lane-change, causing my reaction to be delayed). If I had more scares like that, I wouldn't need to pay for coffee.

@night All I could see of that guy one car ahead was the left brake light. I don't know what they stopped for. My dad suggested they might have done a brake check because the person in front of me may have been tailgating and they became angry. None-the-less, it still caused an accident.

"Do you live in a city?" No I live in Antarctica but my feet are super cooled so they freeze the water as I walk allowing me to traverse the oceans using nothing but my feet.
