I like my friends, and sure I enjoy playing with them from time to time.
However, I don't enjoy playing their server every single time I try to play a game. Sometimes I just want to stay away from a particular friend. As such, I think there should be an option to prioritize servers with our friends in them or not. |

eh
that's something that can't be really 'fixed' or is a problem.
It's very uncommon to just randomly appear to be in a game with your friend on Roblox.
plus how about you just don't play the same games? :9 |

"It's very uncommon to just randomly appear to be in a game with your friend on Roblox."
I doubt you play any games on here, honestly. It seems that 9/10 times I join a game, I end up in a server with the same group of friends.
"plus how about you just don't play the same games? :9"
Why shouldn't I? |

That's something hard to answer because it just jumps into conclusions.
Why shouldn't you?
I don't know, just don't.

If you are working in a cafe or restaurant or something, and you have a friend in that group like a trainee (or a higher rank) it's then more likely to have a friend be in the same server as you.
I've never been in a situation so pathetic on Roblox.
ok cool so you can add a siggy here |

The only one I've played is Soro's to raid it, and even then, none of my friends were on there lol |

"You can't fix this."
What are you talking about? They could easily just go back to the old method of joining games, and introduce that as an option. It just wouldn't prioritize servers with your friends in them. I don't see how that's so hard for you to understand. I tried making it as blatantly simple in the OP as possible, but it seems it just wasn't enough. |

But that's just a stupid idea.

Thanks, kid.
Don't you know, Roblox is too lazy to reply to reports.

@Tin I don't think you understand. Roblox tries to place you in your friend's server if it isn't full, even when you don't manually join their game.

How is anyone supposed to provide anything aside from anecdotal evidence? Besides, I believe the burden of proof would be on you for asserting that my idea is stupid simply because you don't have any friends to be forced into a server with... |

Since you asked, here are some statistics. Currently, there are 37,241 people playing Jailbreak, which has a maximum player limit of 30 players per server. From this, we can conclude that there are approximately 1240 servers, assuming each one is almost filled.
I have 196 friends, a majority of whom have not been online in weeks. I frequently end up in the same server as a handful of them, perhaps 4 or 5 of them. What are the odds of being in the same server as one of these friends? Assuming we share no mutual friends (that is more than likely false, as I've seen 2 or 3 of them in the same server at the same time, though that would be hard to disprove and would require more in-depth calculations), the likelihood of being in the same server as JUST ONE of my friends (choosing from the pool of 4-5 users that I frequently end up playing with) is about 0.00081%. Therefore, the odds of joining a friend in-game, assuming the game has a constant playerbase, would get exponentially tiny, decreasing to roughly a 0.00000066% chance of ending up with another friend after joining a new Jailbreak server. Seeing as I end up with my friends almost every time I play, this is either impossible or I'm extremely lucky. Take your pick. |

Even if all 196 of my friends were currently playing Jailbreak, there would be less than a 15% chance of joining one of them. |

I think you posted in the wrong topic; no one's fighting here, lol |

I made some miscalculations in my first post. The chances of encountering a friend in-game, assuming 4 or 5 are playing currently, would be less than 0.003%. However, leaving and joining another server, only to end up in a server with the SAME friend, which has happened before, would be infinitely tiny, in theory. Theoretically, the probability of that occurring would be about 0.000009%. |

If you play the same range of games and your friend plays the same range of games it's awkward being thrown into a server with them over and over again unannounced. |

I mean, it's still an idea that I'd like to see implemented, so it's not exactly irrelevant or anything. |
