do you think that is something people would play, if it is good enough and has things such as inventory, crafting, combat, a good user interface, etc?

my main issue is getting the game idea, development isn't the problem

it's gotta be easy to play if you want it to have success too many medieval games that I've played are far too complicated in terms of the controls and there's so many aspects to the game (trading, crafting, etc) that it's not fun to play

Complicated isnt actually too bad tbh as long as you make it alot interesting. A easy to play game will become boring very quickly but one that is complicated usually takes time and is a game you go back to playing. That being said don't over complicate the game in a way its unplayable, strike a balance maybe have a select number of testers different ages play and see what results you get.

i have an idea of how to make it simple while having a lot of features in the game, but i'm still not sure people would like it. it gives you stuff to do, but at the same time you don't have to do it
