Think logically for a few moments, loyalty? Since when did loyalty coincide with the concept of a game, a feature of a game controlled by another using who is hierarchically placing you below himself and you feel an obligation to be loyal to him? Of course it is in the clan leader and high ranks interest for your loyalty, they in some cases make money, in other cases reap the rewards gained through the enjoyment of control. What you gain from this re_ati_nship is 'loyalty' and a small chance of rising up a pyramid scheme. Loyalty to friends is an important thing, loyalty to superstructure groups that we talk about on this forum, why bother?

As you had stated, this is game. Therefore this oath of loyalty is merely to replicate what would have happened if we were really in such position. In no way are we really devoting our soles to him, we are more or so telling him we will abide to his rules, and if you fail to do so, you are a traitor. That's when the members of such group leave, noticing how much a tyranny he has become. The oath will not stretch beyond the boundaries of the game, and if asked to do so, no one is going to be willing to comply.
