How come I get lag on my new gaming PC

When I play Phantom Forces it kind of (not heavily) lags. Here's some info CPU: Intel Core i7 GPU: nVIDIA GTX GeForce 1050 RAM: 8 GB Internet Speed: 2 mbps (I think)

At the beginning, the game starts good, but it will get more lag as I keep playing. It consistently lags on that. I don't know what ping is and I don't know how it's measured.
