APN does not have a successor clan. Any attempt taking place outside group 83255, to reconstruct APN itself, continue Alversian lore, or utilize APN's reputation or technology is unrecognized and should be ignored, as it is not an official representation of what APN stood for.
In the current case, a group created by a former member of APN which was exiled for being useless and bad for our image, constantly acting out and not following orders from higher-ups at official group events, has blatantly ripped off APN, our branding (GFX), our ancient bases from previous eras, old tech, etc.
APN's reputation, history and image is being misrepresented by this new group, which is being used by its creator for personal gain. He has always been a lazy guy, so I'm personally not surprised that he chose to go the route of having to rip off another group and all its tech to avoid having to create something from scratch. He's now created a new account to attempt to reset his previous bad reputation in APN, where he was regarded as a fool.
Sargxon's group or any other APN clone will not be recognized official successor to APN. If he didn't want to put in the work it would take to own the real APN, he doesn't have the right to lead any attempt at a clone of the original.
This thread, in short, is a notice that this or any future attempt to reboot APN outside the original group is to be ignored as a gross abuse of Roblox's "create group" feature. |

Not going to bother arguing with ignorant hecklers, valid arguments may be contested but I really don't care about Roblox anymore that much.
Post was written at the request of a concerned old APN member. |

@Blazing
This is a post stating that a successor is not recognized by APN and that any clone or reboot taking place outside the original group should not be connected by people to the original group or its values. It shouldn't be thought of as something connected to original APN.
I'd rather not have APN's history stained by some blithering idgit trying to profit from our group that is now shut down.
The person doing it isn't someone good either, he was a problem to original APN's disciplinary progress and our reputation in front of other groups such as allies and enemies through his actions. |

Anyone could have set up an unofficial Alversian revival and it would've gained short term activity. Quite frankly, I'm surprised it took this long.
The real test will be to see if the unofficial group can sustain this activity, let alone the ability to maintain the strict moral code APN was indistinguishable from.
With the way the clans community has changed, groups like APN just aren't compatible or popular anymore. People don't like APN, they like the idea of APN. Once they realise morally-focused groups require a lot more work, manpower and intelligence they start backing away.
If Sargxon succeeds, good for him. But it doesn't change the fact that the unofficial group does not, and never will represent APN and its values. |

Dystereus wouldn't let APN fall into Sargxon's hands. |

If you hadn't selfishly discontinued APN this wouldn't be a problem in the first place.

(dysterus knows he couldn't do any better so he's trying to stain the reputation of a reboot lmao) |

APN wasn't selfishly discontinued. At the time I actively campaigned against its closure. In hindsight, I was immature, inexperienced and completely wrong. We couldn't do the group, or its members justice. They deserved better than us, and so the group was rightfully put down.
Additionally, as I've stated previously, APN was a morally focused group that was born in a time where such morals were in demand. They are not anymore. The ideals of APN are no longer compatible in the aged, thinned swamp this community has become. There came a choice where we had to either sacrifice what APN was, or shut the group down and have it serve as remembrance of what could have been.
I can say, over a year on that without a doubt Dystereus made the right choice, even if I was so against it at the time and I'm very glad he did it.
There are so many people in this thread who weren't even around at the time and are very quick to jump on a criticise "big bad Dystereus" for being the bully.
Do not argue for or against what you do not understand. |
