Hello, this is a revival of another thread, the link of which I have included in the bottom. Anyone is welcome to join, or rejoin for that matter. ;) In order to preserve the chain of events, I highly recommend you go read the original thread, since we will be continuing right from where we left off. Of the previously claimed countries, UK and US have already been claimed, while Japan has also been reserved. All other countries, even made up ones (pending my approval) such as Estovakia from the previous thread, can be yours, although if it has been used before, it is best to continue in that vein. Also it is expected that everyone be active in order to keep the RP flowing smoothly, if I see that you are inactive or RPing poorly, I reserve the right to free up that country for someone else. CURRENT DATE: June 19 22
The year is 1920, a few years (dang filter)after a new age was forged out of steel, guns, and blood. Europe had been devastated by the war that claimed the lives of 17 million people. The age of monarchs and empires was largely ended, ushering in an age of democracy, prosperity, and liberty. The Central Powers had been partitioned, split, humiliated, and disgraced. Meanwhile, the victorious Entente were hailed as heroes, and using their newfound power, created the League of Nations to carve out Europe and maintain world peace. Spearheaded by Wilson himself, this promising new organization brought hope of a new, more peaceful existence for all. The ways of war had also been changed forever, with tanks, planes, and new strategies taking the helm from that of the 19th century. Peace was achieved, but would it last?
Rules:
-All ROBLOX rules apply.
-1 year is equivalent to 4 pages, so 1 page = 3 months.
-Do not be overpowered. You can't get 100,000 troops from London to Madagascar in a week.
-Be realistic. No modern-day weapons, since this is 1920.
-I will conduct League of Nations conferences and peace treaty conferences.
-Please try and make this as realistic as possible, although there IS NO NEED TO FOLLOW HISTORICAL PRECEDENTS. If you want to do something you must announce it to all in advance, thereby stimulating the actual time it would require to do it or message me directly to mirror clandestine operations or secret developments. This is to ensure that you can’t make stuff up to benefit your country on the spot such as “Unbeknownst to all, [Insert Country] has invented a new superweapon capable of stopping the invasion”

NPC Actions:
The Irish Republican Army, or IRA, has been gaining popular support. They have been harassing locally stationed British troops and supply lines by means of guerilla warfare. They advocate for the establishment of a fully independent Irish Republic. It remains to be seen how newly elected PM Argent will respond, although many are expecting a strong response due to his nationalistic ideals.
Although not invited to this LoN conference, Germany has been quietly drumming up support among her allies and other neutral countries to lessen the harsh penalties leveled on her as a result of the Great War and allow her to sustain her own citizens. It is expected that unless a strong opponent rallies support against this, the motion to loosen restrictions on Germany will pass.
Estovakia has continued the public policy of isolation while slowly building up both defensive and offensive military capabilities. It seems poised to be a major player in any future military conflict although it has been able to fly under the radar compared to the other important events going on currently. It's delegates to the LoN conference have also been testing other countries for similar ideals, and have reached out to the Japanese contingent.
The Soviet Union declined to attend the LoN conference and instead held a rival conference at the same time with it's satellite states and allies. It's public agenda is to discuss rising tensions in Europe, but many in the press and academia have speculated a topic revolving around the spread of Communism, considering the parties involved. |

Military: Military Staff in the USSR have suggested lowering the active army from 1,600,000 to only 800,000 as to make it easier to command. This is prompted due mostly to the failure in Poland to take Warsaw, mostly due to poor command. The Red Army fights the last of the Russian Civil War in the far east.
Domestic: The civil war has drawn mostly to an end
International: The Treaty of Unification has been signed, ending the SFSR, and replacing it with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics [USSR]
