As many of you know, games running on the normal roblox chat show player's names in a certain colour, followed by the writing. This can only be changed by paying to have a new roblox username, but even this doesn't let the player choose what colour it will be, for example the first two names I had were purple, but now it is peach-coloured. It would be great if you could change the colour, along with a wider selection. Some people have talked about the actually chat colour changing, as in the entire message a player types, but thinking about it, I believe that would just make it messy.
In basic for those who don't read paragraphs, the ability to change the colour of a player's name in the default roblox chat system would be great c: |

But then everybody would be like blue red or pink or some neon color that hurts my eyes, it's meant to give some variety and help distinguish between people's usernames easier. |

Are you actually saying you'd rather risk having a colour you don't want rather than give everyone the ability to choose? Either way, colours already exist that apparently hurt your eyes lile yellow. |

None of the colors are really bad as it is, but if people could choose there would only be like 2 different colors in chat |

I don't think you should assume what the entire roblox community will choose. Anyway, I've been in servers with only 1 or 2 colours before - Like laser wars tycoon a few years ago, I, alomg with 7 out of 10 people were purple. |

To be fair though this idea isn't really gonna help anyone or anything in fact this is scriptable if developers choose to allow this of thing in their game.

I wouldn't assume what the entire roblox community will choose in terms of colour. Besides, I've been in many games where there were only 1 or 2 colours with about 10 people in the server.
Either way, choosing is better than the colour selection being based off of what letters you have in your name (I think) |

I've yet to see an in-game chat that lets you choose, other than the colour of a team you choose to be in. |

I'm only saying that because it seems so useless like this wouldn't change literally anything in any way or benefit Roblox in any possible way. I just don't see Roblox wasting their time on something like this honestly. |
