Roblox, the chat filter is way too touchy for the average person, and it's even debatable that it filters too much for an 8-year-old. Here is how you guys can fix it;
Add chat tolerance features that the players can set themselves (or the parent/guardian if the age is under 13.)
This way, ROBLOX can stay a game for "All ages," not just 10 and under. If adults want to talk like adults, let them. It's not like most of us haven't already been introduced to bad words in some other way, shape, or form. This removes the hassle of needing to go and download some external app like Discord to talk.
So to sum up my idea, roblox settings page would include a dropdown menu that includes numbers 1,2,3,4 for the chat menu. 1 being how the filter is now, 2 being about the same only more tolerant towards external site links, 3 being a more basic filter (just the basic 4 letter word censor) then level 4 would be for no censor at all. This would allow for adults to talk to other adults in ways they seem fit, while also keeping young 10 year olds from hearing all the nasty stuff that would pile out of someone's mouth. It also keeps your complaints inbox empty with people complaining about how the chat censor broke. I think this would really improve the overall quality of roblox and let people have more freedom to make their roblox what they want it to be. Thanks,
