Somethings are better left non-"streamlined" as you put it, combining 20 forums into 5 will be a disaster.
The forums are fine as they are now, now everything is organized based off its topic, what you are doing by generalizing will make finding and posting specific topics more confusing. Going off this, there will be way more traffic in each forum and it will be harder to get replies or people paying attention to your post (due to the amount of traffic, or lack of interest in the topic because it's so generalized). Not only are these things issues, but also some of the forums that are being "merged" will not even be getting a proper replacement. For instance, how does popculture and roplaying fit into any of the following:
Roblox News & Discussion
Clans & Guilds
Let’s Make a Deal
Game Design
Scripts
It doesn't, so these people will be left out and their community broken.
So to sum it up (TL;DR):
-There will be more spam
-some posters will be neglected
-things will be more confusing
-this is not an update, its a downgrade, so what's the point
Guys, please make your arguments below and we can only hope that this doesn't come true. Otherwise, this forum "S&I" wont even exist to make arguments in a couple weeks!
