[ELEMENTS DOES NOT MEAN 'Fire' 'Water' 'Earth.' It means Neon, Argon, Helium, Gold, Radon, etc.]

You know the elements, right? Like how helium makes your voice sound funny ["Follow the yellow brick road!"]. Or maybe you want to get lots of gold, in any case, you're about to get a whole new understanding of the periodic table.
[Basicaly, your character goes to some display and there's a big periodic table and the characters get 'infected' with them and start getting powers to control them]
You will have 48 hours to choose your side [It's a good guys against bad guys thing, but that DOES NOT mean mindless combat. It just means there's those who want to use their power to help and those that want use their powers badly]. You will know when the timer starts.
-Rules-
No ubering [No massive hydrogen bomb or stuff like that].
Know your elements.
Only two characters per person.
Only one character gets a single power. That means no more than one character with gold, etc..
Whatever I say is final.
Radioactive elements mess with an object [or person]'s properties. So a piece of wood could act like water or plaster, or a river could suddenly stick together like glue.
Metals are heavily affected by eletricity and can be shaped with force and melted with heat, but are very strong [varies in strength] and has a lot of defense.
Non metals are not affected by electricity or easily shaped.
Semi metals are both metal and non metal.
Anything that's a gas will be able to 'melt' by itself into a liquid or gas state, but may be easily flammable [severe injury, if not death].
Noble gases are the same as gases but won't mix with other gases easily.

I hang my head and stare at my feet as I listen to the silence around me. I had been, yet again, tied to a light post and left. I sigh and try to reach my pocket knife that was in my back pocket. I slightly touch it, but that was as far as I could go. I curse silently and start to wince because of the pain coming from my left eye, probably another concussion. |
