one of the biggest problems about roblox is that so many young roblox users have creative ideas for making games on roblox, but are too overwhelmed by roblox studio, and end up only importing free models. But imagine if making roblox games were as easy as building with lego's, well it can be, and i have an idea for it. Roblox can sell a package with plastic bricks that has roblox's signature square studs. the brick can be lego size and have a tiny magnet inside to help them stay connected. But this is the important part: the brick can have an nfc reader to detect when they are attached to each other. and the structure's will be built onto a baseplate with a wireless bluetooth connector. then when in studio, the user can build there own structures physically, and import them digitally from the baseplate wireless bluetooth connector. Not only will this be a more easier option for user's new to roblox, but it would also be a more fun and interactive approach. please respond and tell me how smart i am, your welcome roblox :) |

"please respond and tell me how smart i am," You're an idiot. Specifically, you're an idiot who doesn't understand economies of scale. Allow me to explain: Lego mass-produces their products, but still, some of their larger products cost in the range of a thousand dollars. These are mass-produced so as to minimize the cost-per-product. ROBLOX, on the other hand, will not have the luxury of mass producing this like Lego is, because plenty of people are already using the studio, and of those that are confused about the studio only a tiny fraction will manage to get their parents to buy this for them. That means that fewer products will have to be made, which means that the price per product will have to go up, which means that fewer people will be able to get their parents to buy this for them. Now, sure, no matter how expensive they are there will always be some kids who can get them, but ROBLOX will not be able to make their money back from the ### costs to develop this product. |

That would be cool
It took me like 4 years to figure out how to use roblocs studio
The thing is ppl wouldnt create actual games
It would just be fun for messing around with
Also not many ppl would buy it |

i wouldn't buy it, i'd just watch tutorials. they would still have to hire a scripter or learn to script. i am so awful at using roblox studio that my best place is an interview center lol

Kids can just hire professional scriptures from lots of groups, especially now possible with the addition of Team Create...l |

I see where you are going. Roblox would team with MegaBlocks to defeat Lego once and for all. then, MegaBlocks will betray Roblox and becomes king! Roblox dies. MegaBlocks destroys all other Brick brands. Then, Minecraft the only survivor duels with MegaBlocks in the final battle of Earth to decide it all. They use swords :P. Minecraft defeats Megablocks but he begs for mercy. Instead Minecraft kicks him into a pit of lava, killing MegaBLocks. Then Minecraft was the only one standing. The end. :P
Man, I should write books.

@TimePockie roblox is already getting into the toy business, so it would still be most of the same materials they are using already. basicly what i'm suggesting is the equivalent to what nintendo did with amiibo. and the cost shouldn't be too detrimental, the nfc reader should only cost like 10 extra dollars along with a bluetooth receiver which is also like an extras ## ################ ################ #### should 30$ costing only in the 45$ range. and to boost sales roblox can also add a free code for monthly bc or 500 robux or something |

@Timepockie and what do you mean "only a tiny fraction will manage to get their parents to buy this for them" parents love and support creativity |

listen this isn't made for major professional game developers, it is a device that will literally allow kids to bring there imagination to life! i believe this would be a revolutionary product |

While this IS a creative idea, it would be VERY expensive to produce a pile of blocks that ALL have an ### reader AND a magnet. It would be very expensive to even produce #### ( Plus, there are tutorials out there that explain the studio in a simple way. ) |

just the magnet actually, becuase only the baseplate would have the nfc reader. the bricks just have information for the nfc reader to read |

in my opinion, the studio is really easy to use. the only part I cant do is script. |
|
|
LMAO, it won't work. Nintendo made N&B bricks and got in a lawsuit with Lego.

Studio is easy to use, they don't need this. "respond and tell me how smart I am" On a scale from ### to #### you would get a #### |
