Three years ago I became the rightful successor of this clan, and three years ago I lost it. A year ago, the impossible happened and I got it back and it brought me back to this game. My journey, the Brotherhood's journey in this clan has not been a short or easy one. Time and time again we took the toughest road and wasted time fighting for and against this clan. We never abandoned our vision and morals even once, and it got us this far... but it's time we went even further.
Three years ago we called our regime The Phoenix Era. Though at the time we thought it was just a cool name, I see now that we really couldn't have picked a better name. JC is a clan of ends and new beginnings, a never ending cycle of death and revival. Today, we finally make the decision to end that cycle. This is our final and most significant death and rebirth.
Effective immediately, JC will be shut down and turned into a memorial group. We encourage the rest of our active community to join us as we embark on this journey. This is not a decision that is sudden, this was something that was decided before we even got the group back.
Our intention with JC was to seek out old and new friends to put together a broken community and raise funds for a larger goal. Although we didn't do the best job with the former, the latter was a complete success. We tried to bring the clan back for one last summer and it became clear to us that continuing this cycle was pointless and it was finally time to move on. No more dwelling on the past.
I know this news is a shock or disappointment to many of you, but understand that this was no easy decision for me. I have played an active role in JC for six years. Believe me, I would not have dared to put an end to such a historic clan if I did not feel so amazingly confident about our next move. At the end of the day, what is JC? 68,000 inactive members. A name that carries the legacy of pspjohn1. These are things that do not matter to me, and these are things that do not truly define what JC is. You can insult me, call me a liar and careless, a let-down, but I could have sold JC like John did and ran off with some money in my pockets. I didn't, because I DO care. I care about creating an unforgettable experience for you all, an experience far greater than I and many of you felt in JC's golden age. I wish to exceed that by miles, to create new memories to later dwell upon.
Yes, we are shutting down JC but it will not truly die.
That's because we will continue the spirit of JC; We are removing the tainted brand of John, we will no longer be Cobras, but we will uphold the most important value of JC: revolution. The drive to challenge and change the way things are, to overcome all odds and succeed where others have failed. Today, we introduce you to the true successors of this community, the group that will take up the mantle that JC has lost: Atlas Revolutionaries.
That is what Atlas will do. It will revolutionize, not by declaring auto wins or angering the masses with unfounded claims and breaking every fundamental clan warfare rule. It will revolutionize by bringing new meaning to what it is to be a CLAN. It will set the bar for every "rp" clan.
When you join Atlas, you will get to create and customize your own soldier and give yourself a unique codename. You will have the option to become a bounty hunter or join one of three factions that each control a district in a city under martial law. When you join, you will be guided through a course that teaches you the advanced combat and maneuvering system we have in place. You will discover our lore in ways never done before by clans. We will integrate military roleplay never done before by clans and provide you with an immersive experience that will never require you to hit the x button to travel from place to place in our open world universe.
We have a total of 11 facilities. Nine out of eleven have already been started and all are either completed or nearing completion. The tenth will begin soon, and the eleventh will begin once Atlas is fully prepared for launch. You can keep up with our development by checking our Twitter page @PAX_Corp. So this is the end. I have been with JC since 2011 and have seen every era since. I have been through many wars and have stuck with the clan through thick and thin. I sided with Atomic through the attempted reform known as Project Endeavor or the Rebellion after the wrongs John committed against our true commander. I believe that Atomic knows best for JC and I think that this course of action is the best we can take in this time of darkness. This was not decided lightly and was but off for many months but it is finally time to bury the past and look to the future. The curtain may have closed on JC but our rich history remains. We were the clan that took down GSC. We were the clan that fought through all odds. We were the clan that made our mark on this community through all the friction others provided. I must thank everyone who was ever in JC, those that are currently in JC and those who supported or acted against JC. You are what JC is built on. Without these individuals there never would have been a JC. Thank you to the previous leaders of JC for building a foundation for our own reign. Let us remember the past with gratitude, live the present with enthusiasm, and look forward to the future with confidence.

And here we are, at the end of the tracks. It has certainly been fun these past 6 years that I have stuck with JC, where I met several of great people and had lots of cool experiences.
During all these years and during all these wars we have been through since 2012 I was very glad to be seen as a respect worthy figure for all the low, middle, high rankers and even people from outside the group. I guess by trying to be as open, respectful, organised, friendly and "good" as possible I managed to forge
bonds with the community and managed to build a good image for myself.
Though I must say that I feel regret for not being as competent and active as many peoplewanted me to be when I was most needed, like for instance the time I was 2iC from last summer to January 2017.
Nevertheless, I say this with great pride, that I do not regret spending almost 6 years with ###### Cobras and that just remembering the things we have done and the people that I got to meet from each and every era since 2012, brings out a smile on my face.
I, along many others, am thankful for all those memories, lessons and all the fun we had through the years. May the successor be as worthy as our memories, if not ten times better.
