Mathew: This is perhaps a chain reaction that started in Mallis. We believe it was caused by Extreme stress beneath the Surface being suddenly released creating extreme viberations on The Surface. The resource, Coal, is explored further. We try everything to find out what else besides turning into Diamonds it is useful for. Finally, we get our answer. A scientist figures out that when Coal burns, it releases a huge amount of Heat. Too hot and big however for a normal Campfire. A scientist says we can use it to Boil water, which will produce steam. The Steam will turn a Mill that can do any sort of Job. However, Wind and Water can do this too, so we completely discard the Idea.

We also discover a small Black Goopy Liquid in our country. The Use of it for a Lantern that doesn't go out even in rain was already known, but we put it to a different use. Our Govenment Secretly told a group of Scientists to refine the Oil (We named it ourselves, but with a good purpose because the man who mined out the Oil in England, his last name was Oilton) and report what you could make out of it. The results that the Govenment heard, was shocking. They came up with 100 and counting uses for it. However, we destroyed the small pocket of Oil that we had doing research, or on the surface anyways. Our Scientists reported that Oil is more commonly found deep beteath the surface. Out of anyone's reach. And it would remain like this, for a long, long time.
