So, can disney sue roblox? the answer is yes. Due to MeepCity, stealing things from both of there games currently shutdown, Toontown and Club Penguin. Now you may ask why are their so many private servers or spinoffs of these games? Disney does not have a problem with these as long as they provide Disneys name as the original. Sometimes they have issue if the sites allow you to buy things. But every single purchasable Toontown spinoff or Private Server does not exist anymore. And Disney cannot really mess with Club Penguin private servers, so you see, They monetize themselves as a game in the same genre and a few other things cause them to not be suable for Copywrite Infringement or Copywrite Monetazation. Same situation as BLOX City and ROBLOX. Ok now back to the actual thing. Meep City steals quite alot from these games and there is no where anywhere stating credit or even the slightest bit of hints thats it Disneys. They also rename certain of these things stolen such as features or building models into different names. And claim they made it up. MeepCity used to be a site of its own, I guess roblox condoned the site as it used ROBLOX's signature old logo text style and obviously when you type there browsers for MeepCity's own site which used to go by socialmeeps and eventually meepcity then dissapeared into a roblox game. THe sites now after redirecting to a bunch of stuff redirect to the roblox game itself. SocialMeeps/MeepCity had a community of its own. It was on youtube alot, even a video about "SOCIAL MEEPS MYSTERIES: PART 1" So it obviously had a community. People made videos, alexnewtron and whoever else worked on the actual site had facebook page and twitter pages stil up. There is also many groups and tshirts and shirts made by alexnewtron and his friends named SocialMeeps and stuff. I guess to remember? But anyway if Disney does sue they now have a even better line of defense since ROBLOX made a specific toy for Meep City that includes the fisherman a meepcity backround and a meep figurine and if you redeem it you get the meep hat (Which is quite sad for roblox lmao). And wen companies sue roblox over certain games, the people involved in the games are also sued as well as the ROBLOX corporation themselves. But alexnewtron is already staff so that part doesn't matter much. So yes, Disney can sue roblox. And it looks currently Disney's offense and defense on roblox is very well. But we don't even know if Disney will sue, and we don't know if disney will win.

They use many things DIRECTLY from the games and are either re-named or not mentionted at all. Maybe pay attention. I could link you a video showing some of the things and features they have stolen. |
