It is today in which I have the honour to announce the select position of Prime Minister following the retirement of my dear friend and colleague Starbuckdog. While I doubt anyone will ever fully be capable of replacing the immense help that Starbuckdog was to RA and myself, I do believe that his successor has both the drive and passion to fulfill the cause to its fullest. Starbuckdog worked tirelessly to ensure that RA was operating at its fullest capabilities, striving through years of foggy futures and tireless efforts to bring both him and our group down. I believe that regardless of who replaces him, we all owe him a great thanks. Your shoes will be hard to fill my friend, may I and your group wish you the best of luck in all future endeavors!
Now, onto the announcement. It has been three years since my assumption of Presidential power, and therefore, it has been three years since I have filled this position. While I knew I would inevitably be called to fill this position. For a long while I contemplated how I would go about this, and who would fulfill it. The person I decided to choose not only has my back consistently, but has worked to benefit RA through contributions to its infrastructure and development. However, it was the outpouring of support he received in the election for Prime Minister Elect which finally pushed me over the edge. I do not know if selecting this individual serves as precedent for my position selecting based on past elections, or whether or not this was simply a result of coincidence and timing, but regardless, the decision is ultimately mine to make. It is therefore I announce Marshal Metrotech as the next Prime Minister Select of the Russian Army, assuming all powers and responsibilities immediately.
Metrotech has been in RA for years now, consistently serving at his position and always leading from a position he knows best. As Director of Spetsnaz he took up an embattled division reeling over the removal of their former Director, and transformed it into an efficient division once more. As active base holder of RA, he has contributed countless memories and activity to RA which would be detrimental should it cease to exist. As Marshal, Metrotech served honourably, though stubbornly, holding views which were unwavering at times but noble all the same. While he and I hold varying views, we consistently arrive to similar conclusions on how to move forward, and the proper upholding of NKVD Law, and the general order of RA.
I congratulate you, Metrotech, or as I say, Mic, on your promotion to Prime Minister! Let us all celebrate this momentous occasion, as one group, united above all else.
Signed,
President of RA, General Commissar of NKVD;
