I sat in a chair waiting for everyone to get ready for our hiking trip, I was already for it but almost 3/4 of everybody that was going was not. I pulled out my book and read it while everyone slowly got on there hiking stuff. I sighed in relief when everyone was ready and i launched myself out of my chair. "hey bill, Do you believe in the myths that are told about this forest?" I asked. "Nah. I just think they are story's for people to come here and get scared." I snickered and said. "Ok everyone lets go!" I said and we went across the trail and watching animals dart by. We chatted the whole time until we got to a black lake. One guy went close to it and said. "dare we to touch it?" He asked everyone and most of them said yes. I also said yes and he inched to it and touched it. His finger came out and said. "hah! Nothing!" Then his finder went into bones. "what the! OWWW!" he screamed and ran around in circles I ran at him and calmed him down as a couple of other people bandaged him finger. Some guys made jokes about it and someone video taped it i watched it and laughed like for 4 minutes. We walked farther down and we noticed that it was getting darker. "hey.... isn't there suppose to be a exit right here?" i asked the guide. "well there should be... strange.." He rubbed his chin and we walked on till we found a patch of land and he said." Ok guys lets camp out here!" I agreed with him and took out a tent maker in my backpack and set up camp. I looked around. Something is strange about this forest and it near.

Part 2~
I set up the tent and crawled inside. all of the tents were full and every one had two people inside it except me. Lucky me. I turned off my lantern off and fell asleep. about 5 hours later woke up from a distant scream. I poked my head out like everyone else did and i said. "what the heck what that?" Most of the people shrugged. I got up and turned my lantern on and looked around. "well. anyone want to check it out?" mostly everyone went with me. went scanned around the other trails until we heard a growl. "what th-" The thing pounced on my and scratched me and snapped at me until one person banged it with his lantern. I moaned in pain as people helped me up. "we need to get you back." One of them said but some of them had hungry faces on. "what?" asked and there eyes grew red. "uhh." Lets get out of here!" Most of the people had already left screaming. the person that helped me was helping me run. I took out my favorite stick and threw it at them and one collapsed. They froze and looked at the body and slid int eh darkness. "phew that was close." he said and we limped back to camp. |
