infinite "ROBLOX is updating"

So, when I fir st get on the ROBLOX website, I get the "ROBLOX is updating" thing. So I'm thinking 'Huh, that's strange, the bar is already full when I started' after that I see that the update loading bar thing is just stuck at the end. I have a great computer and great internet. So I moved the ROBLOX is updating thing over to the side of my screen where I can't see it. I go over to a game page I want to play, and click 'Play'. Then it says 'You're moments away from getting into the game! - Download and Install ROBLOX' even though I already have it downloaded, have had it downloaded for years, and I was playing just yesterday. Have tried re-downloading. Any suggestions on A. how to make the 'ROBLOX is updating' thing go away and B. make it so I can join games? I'm on a Mac btw

Remove all remnants of ROBLOX and try installing again. No matter the player, I almost always have an answer. On every request. Since 2015.

Let’s your computer finish starting up. Make sure you have the correct ROBLOX version downloaded. Make sure you have no unknown programs running in the background. Maybe your firewall or virus protection.

Okay so I tried deleting everything. Still had 'roblox is updating' thing even after i deleted file and tried again. also it still said i needed to download it, even though i had just downloaded.
