I've recently been working on a Custom Character Rig build for a game, but it's really bugged
It keeps spawning the player with 0 health, causing them to continuously respawn

Everything for this works in studio, but not in the actual game servers.

I'm having the same problem, I've made custom animation before and they worked perfectly fine, but I created a new one last night and it was doing the same thing. I'm not to sure why it's doing this and I'd also like to find the solution.
I actually just found the solution to my problem at least, what you need to do is bind the torso directly to the head, after I did this I could spawn without the 0 health issue.
