I revamped the entire game. With a new map i wanted mainly opionions on the map and new UI that give it a newer feel while staying basic

I would rate 4/10, the UI needs working on (inventory, playerlist etc) and pets have many bugs too. Other than that it's good. Zombi#0706 | C# & Lua Developer | Graphics Artist | Web Developer

Roblox is mostly full of kids that only care about graphics, so you might not get many good comments about the map I don't mind it though, as long as the game is fun

@joe "kids who care about graphics", graphics is one of the most important things for developing a game, if the UI and graphics don't look good people won't play it. Zombi#0706 | C# & Lua Developer | Graphics Artist | Web Developer

Well im going for a basic feel that is easier to expand onto so i can constantly add new maps/updates to it. so mobile players can enjoy it also as it will be less graphic intensive.

Billy, potatos can run up to 10k brick count. Average computers can handle 20k. There's also ways of reducing brick count. Convert large quantity amounts of bricks into unions, convert unions into meshes.

Tip: Don't listen to any newbies that say to use unions or meshes. They drastically increase the bandwidth needed to load the place. When you use too many of them, some players will be kicked by roblox for not loading the place fast enough. Most of the time, they're just used by builders with no skill and have no idea WHY unions increase performance which causes them to incorrectly use them and only end up increasing the bandwidth needed with little-to-no performance improvement It's okay to use unions and meshes, but try to keep the unique (different asset IDs) count to a minimum. Using the same asset ID many times can increase performance greatly while keeping bandwidth usage to a minimum since you only need to download the asset once Having a bad map won't make people not play, just look at all the old games that are still played (a lot are broken by now though which is why they're dead)

Joe, you're a scripter not a builder. It's great if you want to give feedback, but don't give advice on building when you're not relevant to us. You should've given valuable feedback on how poorly the game was scripted.
