Greetings Citizens,
I am DrDarronMayes. and I am announcing my candidacy for County Council. I am running for a second term. My first term as County Council, I was getting the flow of things. Now, I got the flow of things. I can now start being the best Councilman for my People. I have some political experience. I was the Governor of the State of Florida and I was also a Councilman for the City of Norfolk. We need activity within our local governments for new laws and regulations instead of relying on state level government to do things that local government is suppose to do.
My current plans for the county:
- Get the County Judicial System back Active.
Stapleton County Judicial System is inactive. My First term as a County Councilman. We tried to get it active but we didn’t succeed. I will make sure it succeeds this term, I will talk to the County Executive and Meet with the State Judicial Branch. We will get Judges who is Active and Will get things done.
- Set up Unbiased Committee
My First Term as a County Councilman. We have some Biased members part of the Ethics Committee. They impeached members based on If they like them or not. This Time I will out a stop to that. I will try to get Chairman of the Ethics Committee and make sure Every case that comes across the Committee will be an Unbiased trial.
