As there are six vacant seats in the United States Senate, an election has been ordered.
To be elected as a Senator of the United States, you must:
• Create a forum speech detailing why you should be elected to the United States Senate, with this forum post listing your party affiliation (if any).
• Your speech must attain eight valid signatures on your forum post. Only citizens of the United States will count as signatures. Alternate accounts and non-citizens will not count towards the final number.
• Only six seats are vacant, and thus the top six winners of the ballot by count of legitimate votes will be sworn in as senators.
• Each citizen may sign more than one speech.
• When the required amount of signatures are obtained, the speech must be messaged to the President Pro Tempore UD_V. If the speech is not messaged to the President Pro Tempore, the citizen will not be allowed to be on the ballot.
The ballot will open on the nineteenth (19th)of November, so be sure to have sent your speech to the President Pro Tempore before then to be eligible to be elected.
Please note that it is strongly recommended you have a ####### so you can join the Senate ####### chat. Furthermore, Senate sessions are hosted at seven fifteen PM Eastern Time every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If you know you cannot attend sessions at these times, it would be wise not to run.
Finally, please keep in mind that the officer of this election (UD_V) has the right to deny any citizens attempt to become a Senator and deny them their spot on the ballot.
