If I were to make a large map out of ROBLOX terrain would phones and iPads be able to run it? possibly Xbox too? I would think that it would be less laggy then making full terrain out of triangle bricks but I'm not too sure. nahh home slice

Well yeah but I don't want to finish building this large map only to realize nobody can run it. That's why I'm asking the community. I don't have that bad of a computer myself so I probably wouldn't even be able to tell how well it handles on lower end computers. nahh home slice

No need to build the entire map, just run a script that inserts a bunch of anchored, cancollide Parts into an area, then try running it on a touchscreen device. Run another map about the same area with Terrain and see if the device is slower or faster.

The more you add to your studio game, the larger the file size will grow.

Issue with that is idk how many parts I would need to add in comparison to terrain. I've figured out a solution though. Pretty simple, I'm just going to teleport players to different games for each area of the map they are looking to explore so there is less going on in each game. nahh home slice

its not laggy unless you are playing on a computer from 1984... mobile devices can run jailbreak pretty well and it has tons of terrain Don't believe my join date, I've been on roblox since 2012
