That's just a short list of games that either wouldn't work as single player, or wouldn't be as fun if they were played with NPCs. Basically, you can't just make a game single player as a solution to exploits because not all games can be single player.
It's only true that games that happen to be single player don't really require exploit protection since they're only ruining their own fun.
