ROBLOX is trying to render in Direct3D, which does not exist on MacOS. This causes everything to be rendered in grayscale, shadows are choppy, as well as other graphical errors. I can change to OpenGL in ROBLOX Studio settings, but this only affects ROBLOX Studio. Is there a way to change it for the ROBLOX Player?

Hi there! Sorry I could not respond more promptly :( ROBLOX Studio has the option you're looking for: http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=API:Class/RenderSettings You are looking for the "GraphicsMode" property.

I changed the GraphicsMode property to OpenGL, but it's still using Direct3D in the ROBLOX player...

studio>file>settings>rendering>graphics mode>OpenGL (OR) automatic if those two fail, select OpenGL with ExportMergeByMaterial and click on ReloadAsset (under the same "Rendering" section) ryzen 7 1700x (overclocked 4.0ghz) | gigabyte aorus xtreme 1080 sli (waterblock edition)| aorus k7 gaming motherboard | thermaltake RGB 1200W platinum | thermaltake core v71 tempered glass | custom watercooling loop from EKWB
